Not what I expected. For some reason I assumed this would be NA but was glad it was YA.

I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it was a surprise for the reader that Jack was Wolf and Pepper was Bluebird, like in Ali Hazelwood’s Love on the Brain. It’s nice to be able to put the pieces together yourself instead of just knowing everything and watching the characters being clueless which can be a bit annoying.

I loved the storyline though

This book is a really endearing, heartwarming read. It’s predictable in all the right places, and is a really enjoyable YA. I loved all the food references and the competition elements of the book, as well as the relatability of the characters. It’s a recommended read for me.

I quite enjoyed this one! I loved that it was such a quick read and it felt quite lighthearted. I l enjoyed the relationship progression and the whole drama of the Weazel app. I know the title of the book is ‘Tweet Cute’ but I did feel like the Twitter war got a little tedious. I’d definitely pick up another book by the author! I read this with NetGalley.

If you liked You've Got Mail, I would highly recommend giving Tweet Cute a read, as I've got a feeling that you will really enjoy it.
This modern take on what we saw in You've Got Mail worked for me, from all the up to date pop culture and social media references to the banter between the two main characters.
It's a really quick and easy read, perfect for when you're not looking for anything too heavy.
Maybe I would have preferred if Pepper and Jack only conversed two ways instead of three as that felt just a little much but I still enjoyed it.
This is a really cute YA book and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more of Emma Lord's books in the future.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Arrgghhhh!!! This was cute read. Predictable? Yes. Worth the read? Hell yes! it is a sweet short read you would want to pick up for a break. Has all the fluff and no spice and the fluff was done so beautifully and naturally that you will get hooked. This book is pretty much Gossip Girl meets Mean Girls mixed with To All The Boys I've Loved Before with a touch of You've Got Mail.

So we have enemies-to-lover, high school romance, hidden identity and business (twitter) battle going on. I think the book describes how relationships work and how life is unexpected and that no plan is fixed for the future. The book beautifully says its okay to say 'hey! I don't know what I want.'

So we have our small town, nerdy, overachiever-perfectionist, Pepper who secretly handles her parents big food corp chains social media Big Leagues Burger. At school she is the twin team ca with Ivy League grades who has can recognise the identical twins Jack and Ethan.

Happy-go-lucky Jack is the bane of Peppers existence and is a tech junkie who created an anon app for students to use while desperately trying to no be under his twins shadow while working at the family diner Girl Cheesing.

Nothing can go wrong...right? Well. Yes, until mama bear has a come back for something that happened one summer which leads into a full blown twitter spectacle. As the war goes on these two connect anonymously on Weasel (Jacks app) and start catching feelings. When it is time for revelations it is whole mess which I will leave out for you to read :)

I loved this book 100% enjoyed.... it was funny, Gossip Girly vibes with fluff and cutesy stuff which in all honesty was refreshing and nice to read in a longgggg time.

This book is absolutely adorable!
As someone who is significantly older than the age demographic for YA novels, even I can still appreciate the cross-generational relationship issues of mixed signals, crossed wires and a good 'ol enemies to love(r)s (keeping it age appropriate!) trope!
This book cover all of these well, with it all feeling relevant and genuine (in the sense of how teenagers act), while still allowing for readers of an older age to enjoy the story too - the plot is so universal - plus the older characters in the story are interesting in their own right and play a big part in the story.
Both of the main characters were people you couldn't help but root for and the whole premise was fun, and an easy read, while also making me laugh out loud a few times.
A brilliant debut and a great choice for teens and any other YA readers.

This was a cute and predictable fun read! The way the main characters evolve in their friebdship with banter and rivalry due to their fanily business was entertaining.

This was such a cute, fluffy YA book ! Meet Pepper and Jack, they go to the same school however they are the children of rival food businesses !

The banter, the tweets between Pepper and Jack were Hilarious and was was so wonderful to watch their friendship and love grow. They are both so much more beyond their parents businesses which you get to know throughout this book. I love how Pepper eventually opens up more to be able to make friends and also stand up for herself against her mum.

This was the perfect, fluffy, funny YA read!

I loved the dynamic between Pepper and Jack. The dramatic irony of the storyline. The lil romance.

It’s a super fun, quick and easy read that’ll leave you obsessed with Pepper and Jack!

A fresh, irresistible rom-com from Emma Lord, Tweet Cute is about the chances we take, the paths life can lead us on, and how love can be found in the opposite place you expected.

Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist and secretly running Big League Burger's massive Twitter account.

Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper's side. When he isn't trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin Ethan's shadow, he's busy working in his family's deli and when Big League Burger steals his grandma's iconic grilled cheese recipe, he'll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.

All's fair in love and cheese — that is, until Pepper and Jack's spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Little do they know, while they're publicly duelling it out, they're also falling for each other on an anonymous chat app Jack built. As their relationship deepens and their online shenanigans escalate, even these two rivals can't ignore they were destined for the most unexpected, awkward, all-the-feels romance . . .

'Gossip Girl meets Mean Girls mixed with To All The Boys I've Loved Before with a touch of You've Got Mail. It's basically impossible not to like.' — Hypable
