This starts out with a bang, and it is a rather heavy story in some ways. Even though it could be considered a Christian story, it didn't seem to be the focus. Pretty good overall.

Thanks very much for the free review copy for review!!

This book was very interesting and full of suspense! I loved getting a glimpse into the human mind and the whole premise of the research was fascinating.

The first impression I had of this story was that the author did a very thorough job of displaying toxic personalities. He also used a symposium as a way to convey detailed scientific information to the reader. However, I found it very challenging to stay engaged and my interest was not grabbed until after I had read 2/3 of the book. The author did keep me guessing and I was finally able to figure out the puzzle during the scene right before the reveal.

Overall, this book was much more scholarly than I prefer my casual reading, but I could tell it was well researched and that the author was knowledgeable about the subject.
