Decent nice little middle grade story! premise was very interesting but unfortunately too short to really get emotionally attached.

I was sent this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, for a full review see my Amazon and Goodreads pages.

Fun read, will definitely pick up more books by this author, my daughter was a big fan!!

This is a good fantasy book with a little bit of time travel. I don't know why but it reminds me of a tv show I use to watch when I was younger. The show was called The Tomorrow People. The original not the remake. I don't know why but I also got a moral from this story and that is never judge the book by its cover, it could be good or it could be bad. Same thing here with the characters. Good book and if you like fantasy then this series is for you. It may read differently to anyone . I enjoyed the book and it was fun.

I received a free copy of the book and is voluntarily writing a review

I'm a bit sad that this book wasn't longer. The plot was there, the cool concepts were there, the characters were there, but I feel like due to the low number of pages, the story was underdeveloped. Lux and David were characters with infinite potential, but we didn't get to learn much about them, and that's where the book lacked for me. I'm still curious to see where the author leads us to with this story though. My thanks to the publisher, the author and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is a short fantasy book, the first in what I expect I would call a serialised story, aimed at young readers, aged eight upwards. I think I would have enjoyed this as a child, and it may have been the sort of book to have encouraged me to read Sci-fi/fantasy from a young age. Lux Fischer finds a glowing ring that will lead her on an adventure across the world and time, meeting interesting characters on the way. Thanks to Pulp Books and NetGalley for letting me read an ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
