This is a sweet story for young people. I had a lot of fun. The writer tells a great story and understands how teenagers feel happy or sad. This book was kinda fun to read. I have to admit, the starting idea was really good. It was exciting and made me curious.

I am writing this review for Net Galley.

In this story we follow a young girl Named Sadie who is attending an all woman's boarding school. There we watch her grow as she is learning new things every day. Boys are not allowed in this school however that doesn't stop some of the young woman from the risk of getting into trouble by going out in the middle of the night to meet them.

Sadie found herself falling head over heels for a boy named Danny. She didn't think she would be able to get his attention but once she did they would find ways to meet up until one night Danny didn't show.

This is a cute young adult story. I really enjoyed it. I rated it a 4 because there is one part in the story I did not care for and could probably be left out. I understand why the author put that part in there, I just didn't care for it. Otherwise it is a good read and highly recommend.

This book is an easy read, it’s about a girl turning 14 in a boarding school in 1959. And the main character Sadie starts to rebel against her schools rules, and she meets this guy called Danny. You get to follow Sadie under the school year when she’s growing up.

Personally for me I just didn’t click with the book and the plot didn’t interest ME that much, but I have attention span so that’s probably why, because for me it was a bit slow, a reason for that is because I felt there were some unnecessary. Therefore I believe there needed to be a bit more time spent on the plot.

I loved that it had chapter names and I also love that it you got to know about her friends and learn to love them aswell.

Otherwise I would say I enjoyed it. There was a romance between Sadie and Danny. Which didn’t entice me that much.

Overall I’d say this book is a 3/5. Reason for that as I said is because it didn’t really click with me
