Prince Marcelo Berutti rescues Clara Sinclair from a forced wedding he causes international outrage. To calm the diplomatic crisis they have to get married.

I normally enjoy Michelle Smart’s books but I found the storyline rather far fetched and more suited to the plots of the M&B 1980s.

Passionate and fantasy rolled into one. Very much enjoyed this
A modern fairytale with likeable characters.

Sexy, fun and firmly in the realm of fantasy. This royal romance is a rollercoaster of sensuality and emotion. Clara was a fabulous heroine with her unconventional approach to life and lack of filter and Marcelo was to die for! Perfect!

The beginning of this passionate romance is pure fantasy, setting the scene for a fairytale romance full of heartbreak, heat and humour. Vulnerable but honest Clara and dutiful and compassionate Marcelo fall in lust and then in love. It's a modern fairytale with two likeable lovers. Romantic and sensual, I like the romance and the glamorous world created.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Such a far fetched start and plot. But such a good one. You forget that princesses don’t get rescued by sexy strangers by helicopter, and that orphans don’t get sent off to boarding school that they hate. A real mad romp with a feisty and honest Clara and buttoned up Marcelo which was a joy to read.
