A late Christmas gift to myself...but, it's Sarah Morgan. She can be as late as she wants, so long as she's kind enough to deliver more books...please!

I really enjoyed this book. Loved the setting in Scotland where the family comes together for Christmas, each with their own worries and problems. Lucy finds her idea of hand delivering her business proposal backfiring when she gets snowed in with them and has to spend Christmas with them when all she wants to do is be alone but the magic of the family Christmas draws her in despite all the under currents. Great read

A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.

A lovely Christmas book.

Lucy is trying to win business for the company she works for so decides to go to Ross Miller’s family home to deliver the proposal in person. Ross, Alice and Clemmie are brother and sisters who make sure they don’t bring up conversation about their lives to their parents and Grandmother. Their Mother Glenda and Nanna Jean all want them to have happiness for them all.

The book was funny in places and also sad.

It was a wonder Christmas read and would recommend it.

A beautiful festive read it’s always a treat to read one of her Christmas novels. Set in snowy Scotland where the weather can get you stuck for days whether you want to be or not. So when Lucy who will do anything for her boss gets caught up in a whole catalogue of errors trying to get Ross Miller’s business she ends up in the middle of a perfect family Christmas and welcomed into a family which she has missed since losing her Gran.

What a lovely read. Fairly predictable but also unpredictable as well. Loved all the characters and laughed out loud in places. Would definitely recommend this book

I really enjoyed reading this little family drama. Whilst it was an easy read, the book did cover a lot of important topics which families typically experience, and for that i found it to be relatable.

This book had a great balance of romance, family drama and Christmas spirit. All of the characters were easily identifiable and all had their own small quirks which made them really likeable.

This is my favourite of all Sarah Morgan's novels that I've read so far, it was just gorgeous. I loved the setting and the characters, as well as the premise. The family this book centred around were so believable and interesting. It was so snowy and festive and full of family and romance. I'm sure this will be a novel that I re-read over future Christmases!

Snowed In For Christmas 🎄📚
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

100% one of my favourite reads of the year, I loved everything about this book!

~ Christmas was fast approaching and this was the time of year Lucy Clarke had been dreading the most. After losing her grandmother a couple of years ago, this was now the most painful time of year due to the memories she shared with her beloved grandmother.

Lucy is a marketing whizz and is dedicated beyond belief to her job. Ross is an extremely occupied business man that wants to make his father proud. Alice the surgeon, the relationship overthinker. And Clemmie, the dreamer of having a very simplistic life…

All 4 are doing their best to make the right life decisions by trying to please everyone🤯

I can’t recommend this read enough, I fell right into it and got sucked up in each characters individual situations! One of those reads that has you glued to the pages!

Lucy & Ross’ forced proximity due to the family meddling was wholesome due to Ross’ family wanting to help their unplanned visitor. Alice & Nicos experience some issues that decide their fate which constantly had me fidgeting till they figured out their path together. And lastly, Clemmie & Fergus, the friendship from their childhood that held such a special place in each of each of their hearts.

~ What will happen when everyone is truthful with each other? 💭

Is it even Christmas if you’ve not read a @sarahmorganwrites Christmas book yet?

This was so heartwarming and cozy and absolutely perfect for reading right now!

I would say this leans a little more into woman’s fiction and romance rather than say the New York series Sarah did that is only romance. So with this you get a little family drama, work/life situations and of course a lovely blossoming romance on the side too.

This has such a dreamy wintery location that I loved too, it made me wish for the snow to start here!

P.s The paperback is in the sale on Amazon right now and is only £4.50 and the kindle book is 99p✨

From the blurb -

She’s snowed in with the family. The only problem? They’re not her family.

A family gathering
This Christmas the Miller siblings have one goal – to avoid their family’s well-meaning questions. Ross, Alice and Clemmie have secrets that they don’t intend to share, and they are relying on each other to deflect attention.

An uninvited guest
Lucy Clarke is facing a Christmas alone, and the prospect of losing her job – unless she can win a major piece of business from Ross Miller. She’ll deliver her proposal to his family home in the Scottish Highlands and then leave. After all, she wouldn’t want to intrude on the Miller’s perfect family Christmas.

A Christmas to remember
When Lucy appears on the Miller’s snow-covered doorstep, she is mistaken for Ross’s girlfriend. But by the time the confusion is cleared up, a storm has hit and Lucy is stuck. As everyone settles in for a snowed-in Christmas, tensions bubble to the surface and suddenly Lucy finds herself facing a big family fallout with a family that isn’t hers…

I thoroughly enjoyed Snowed in for Christmas despite reading it post-festivities!

Lucy is looking to work over Christmas as she wouldn’t be celebrating the festive season anyway and there’s too much at stake if she doesn’t!

Her beloved grandmother is no longer alive to share the festive season with her, so being able to help her boss, Archie, with some struggles at work seems to be the best possible plan, to keep her busy, and not constantly reminded of Christmases past.

Lucy heads to Scotland to snap some photos of products with reindeer and to drop off a proposal present for a prospective client who she hopes will help secure the future of the PR agency she works at.

However life is never that straightforward and Scotland is notorious for snowy storms and Scrooge scuppers Lucy’s plan to drop and dash as she becomes snowed in for Christmas!

Poor Lucy then becomes embroiled in a sibling scheme unaware and is welcomed into the Miller home and ends up fracturing her ankle when she tries to leave – she’s well and truly stuck in Scotland for the time being.

Miller Lodge sounds like a really gorgeous place to be at for Christmas – with a hearty kitchen churning out delicious homemade shortbread, snow covered grounds and gorgeous Christmas trees adorning every room.

I loved how we were introduced to the Miller family, and how each and every character, Lucy included, had a huge part to play in the way the story concludes.

A wonderful, all-consuming story perfect to cosy up and read in those dark wintry days!

I really enjoyed this wholesome story!
Made me laugh, and it left me with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Nanna Jean was my favourite character from the start meddling straight-talking Granny everyone needs in their family.

Roll on the summer to see what Morgan does next!

Read as part of my festive reading list, this book turned out a bit differently to what I expected.

I expected it to be the usual festive romance. However, the focus of the story was on the women, how their relationships were affecting them and impacting on their life choices and I enjoyed the book more for this.

A good, solid festive read.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
