Such a lovely read ... The beautiful prose immediately swept me away into this magical and charming fairytale of a story. Honestly can't believe I am only just reading this one because if I had read this as a child I would have been obsessed for sure. Perfect for children and adults alike.

The Last Unicorn seemed to want to take a deeper, darker message that was hidden in its poems and language but this just did not hit me as well as popular culture suggested it would.

An absolute masterpiece. I read it long ago, but I re read it, as the last time I read it was years ago and I could not remember all of it. It was enchanting, and as magical as ever.
The unicorn hopes to find others of her kind, so she leaves the forest where she has lived for many years, On her way lies adventures, such as being captured by a witch who exhibits her in a carnival. I will not say what happens next, for the sake of readers who have not read this book, but I would recommend the novel to anyone who likes fantasy. You will not, in my opinion, be disappointed.
