I feel like this needed another editing round to iron out the characters and writing a bit.

It's a solid story, but nothing really jumped out to me.

Not my thing, quite cliquéd... Characters seem false and shallow, and the plot did not try to fill the gaps between the sexual scenes.

This book was fun and had me laughing a few times, but it didn't blow me out of the water. I felt like it was advertised so well and just didn't do the justice I felt like it could have.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Sarah and Jeremy. Sarah works for Home Design Network and Jeremy has been assigned her babysitter. He has more important things to do with renovations. There is an instant attraction. They each have issues but together they work them out.

After having enjoyed Renovated last year, I was happy to see another story of the Chance Brothers. I knda missed out on Dale’s story from Restored, I realized, but that wasn’t a problem. Resolved appears to be in the same period as Restored, since Dale and Rebecca certainly haven’t ironed everything out.

Resolved is about Rebecca’s protege Sarah. Becca’s given Sarah the job as her right hand. And Sarah really wants to prove she is up for the job. Having seen up close and personal how her mother is always dependent on her next lover, sarah is determined to be independent and self sufficient. When she is tasked, however, with selecting the new couples for the home improvement broadcasts, she is out of her league. Because she needs to make estimates of time and costs of the required renovations.

Enter Jeremy: the grumpy Chance Brother, who doesn’t want to be on camera (that’s his brother’s task: Levi loves the attention). Jeremy’s brothers asked Jeremy to keep an eye on the newbee: if Sarah makes a judgement error, it could cost the Chance Brothers a lot of money. But although Jeremy doesn’t want to babysit, he can’t afford their company to lose a lot of money.

And although Sarah is easy on the eyes, he doesn’t have time to date. Because a business driven woman like Sarah is way out of his league and a waste of time. Just like his last girlfriend, who left him for her career. But while working together, Sarah learns there is more below the grumpy exterior and Jeremy realizes that there is a reason behind Sarah career mindedness. Maybe their differences can be resolved after all? Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Resolved is the third book in the Chance Brothers series but I had no trouble reading it as a standalone. I loved meeting all the Chance siblings; this is Jeremy’s story.
This was a grumpy vs. sunshine trope which is one of my favorites. The cute meet between Sarah and Jeremy certainly clued us in on the book's trope. The book was entertaining from the beginning and even though it was fast-paced the plot had layers. I really enjoyed watching Sarah and Jeremy as they learned to work together and became friends.
This was a light and fun rom-com that kept you laughing until the end. I look forward to reading more of the Chance siblings’ books.

This is a light read, with some saucy moments (nothing to much) and quite funny. It really is a light read, as you would expect from this type of book. Quite a pleasure. thank you to Nikki and NetGalley for this ARC.

Easy to read, but maybe a bit too many characters in the story? I liked the main characters and their interactions, but the premise itself did not engage me much. Maybe because I am not into renovation tv shows at all. I do however like the grumpy hero-trope, so that saved it for me. Overall an enjoyable book!

I was immediately hooked by Nikki Kiley's descriptive and relatable writing style. The third book of the Chance Brothers series, Jeremy and Sarah's story is sweet, allowing each of them to overcome their past to take a chance at love. I can't wait to read all the brother's stories.

A quickromance story between Sarah and Jeremy. She needs to produce a home improvement program and he’s the set/office designer. Some good banter between them helps the relationship bloom. Sarah also has to deal with her flighty mother and the emotional damage that her upbringing has had on Sarah and her trust issues. Lots of characters with potential for further stories involving the Chance brothers.

What I enjoyed most about this book was the tour of the Miami area (there were neat culinary and architectural descriptions), the abundant amount of spice, and the fact that the MCs were both kind, thoughtful adults trying to do their best despite their issues and blind spots.

Unfortunately, the book did not work for me. The premise (A home renovation show? Network? Construction company? Some combination thereof?) was a bit disjointed and there was a very large cast of secondary and tertiary characters that were hard to keep straight and added/dropped seemingly on a whim (especially the male MCs ex--she was introduced and then...not much). There were several writing style issues that became impossible to ignore. The prose is casual to the point of being unpolished, has a tendency to get bogged down in unnecessary detail (I don't need to be told that trucks beep when they back up), and is very repetitive. There's potential for an enjoyable story here, but it's begging for a good edit.

The third book in the series has Sarhar Rebecca’s assistant working with Jermey one of the Chance Brothers. The banter between the two of them is good when they are together, yet for a good portion of the book, they are in two different cities. This for me threw off the story in the middle t least between the characters. I understood the reason as far as the story but not as far as the characters. Every time the author went to put them together she would then have them apart. I would be a grumpy bastard as well. She got that part of the story right. Then when you find out that Rebecca was pregnant at the end of the last book and going to Vegas you get nothing about that in this book what the? Though I liked the beginning and the end the middle was difficult. The characters were good like the first two books and though I did not like this one as much as the first two I will just say we all have different days and see things differently as well. I will read this author again.

This story follows Jeremy, a contractor, and Sarah who works for the Home Design Network. I LOVE a good grumpy hero in romance novels and this book delivered on that! Jeremy is “grumpy” but also a multi-faceted character with scars and a past. I appreciated the way the author made these characters real and went beyond just the romance. They started as “enemies” and grew to understand and accept the flaws in each other and ended up being a chemistry-fueled, spicy pair.

This book is part of a series and while maybe it can technically be a standalone I did feel like I was missing a little bit of knowledge going into this. I also didn’t love how quickly the end/resolution seemed to come in the plot as it felt like an abrupt finish but overall this was a fun read!

I rate this 3.5 and rounded up because I enjoyed this book. I read it in 24 hours which is pretty fast for me. It was easy to get hooked into the characters lives. Sarah is a very independent woman trying not to make the same mistakes as her mom by falling into bed with any guy that shows her interest. She is also trying to move up in her current role and takes her career very seriously. Jeremy is set with his own company and career and has an awesome support system and family that Sarah is not used to.

Some things that I found unrealistic were that one second they would be fighting and then the next they’re saying I love you while also saying they’re not serious or bringing up that Sarah will be leaving. Any arguments that came up were easily skirted over with kissing/nice words/sex.

A well written and easy to read book.

Loved the characters especially Jermery’s younger brothers working with him who all have an opinion.

Very enjoyable easy read. 4.5/5
