Made a bit of a mistake with this one as I didn’t realise it was just a chapter sample! Definitely piqued my interest for the book though, can’t wait to read.

Having really enjoyed The Spanish Love Deception, I could not wait to read Elena Armas' next book.
Even though this is only one chapter, it's already completely piqued my interest and I can't wait to read the full story once it is released.
I really wish we had gotten a few chapters at least because this has left me wanting so much more.
I will no doubt be reviewing the full book once it is out so I will update my Goodreads accordingly then.

I had no clue going into this that this was about Rosie from the Spanish Love Deception and I love that it is!! I'm so excited to read the whole book, loved this little sneak peak. I can tell it's going to be just as brilliant as SLD. I'm already in love with it and I've only read a few pages!

The first chapter of this book leaves you wanting to read more and find out what happens next for Rosie and Lucas.

This is a charming and amusing first chapter. Absolutely delightful and enough to make you interested in reading the whole book. Elena Armas has been a great surprise in the romance community, and we're all looking forward to what else she will bring to the table. However, I wasn't aware this was only a first chapter and had I known I probably wouldn't have requested it, as I find it challenging to review and analyse books in this format.

I love the premise of this novel and it sounds like an adorable meet-cute scenario. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the first chapter. The writing style seemed quite choppy and the book dove straight in to the first time Rosie and Lucas meet, while it would have been nice to see a bit more of Rosie's life and get to know her character better first. Despite this, the chapter was intriguing and does leave the reader wanting to know more.
