Biggest thanks to Boldwood Books for providing me with a free e-ARC of this book via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I've read quite few Christmas romances, and I've never really found one that hit the spot . . . until this one. It's the perfect blend of Christmas vibes and romance (I've found that many Christmas romances tend to go one way or the other) and to top it off, the writing was great!

This book follows Bea, a weathergirl whose life seems to be falling apart - she's lost her boyfriend, and she thinks she may lose her job too. She's spending Christmas with her family for the first time in years, when she finds out that she's been invited for a two-day long, stayaway interview. The only way that she can get there is if Henry drives her. Which would be fine, except she doesn't like him, and she thinks he feels the same . . .

It's a romance, so I think you know where the story goes. I genuinely enjoyed every part of this book. It's filled with wholesome Christmas vibes. We have a mission to save a school, and there was also a big emphasis on family and the importance of accepting yourself and others. There were definitely a few moments that tugged on my heartstrings! I also felt like the romance was really solid. Henry was such a great hero, and Bea was an interesting and colourful character.

This genuinely felt like watching a Christmas movie, and while I was a bit skeptical going into it seeing as I haven't had the best of luck with Christmas books in the past, I am so glad I read it!

Fabulous! Don't be fooled by the blurbs, the is so much more than a 'forced proximity' story. Bea, our weather girl MC, is going home for Christmas and offered a dream job interview on the other end of the country. Act 1, a journey to snowy Scotland with Henry and antics ensue. Act 2.Christmas at Charis House, family traditions, ex boyfriends showing up, family illness. ACT 3 Resolutions all round. Interspersed with flash backs to Christmas's past to uncover secrets it all comes together gloriously!

I haven’t read anything by this author before so was unsure what to expect. However, what I found was a really enjoyable storyline populated with interesting & fully-formed characters to whom I warmed, or disliked immediately when it came to one particularly unpleasant character,
An enjoyable read following the blossoming friendship, and ultimately romance, between two characters who have known each other (and on one side, disliked) since childhood and are forced together on a number of long car journeys & sharing the strangest job interview ever,
An entertaining and enjoyable read, perfect for winter-time and Christmas.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for my copy of Let It Snow by Beth Moran in exchange for an honest review. It published August 30, 2022.
First off, can I just say, Beth Moran is just so wonderful? I've read one of Moran's previous Christmas stories, and I just fell in love with the writing style!
Once again, this is such a sweet, fun, twisty, turning story that's not with the typical format of many books of this genre. I loved the meteorologist career, the unique job interview, the family dynamics, the multiple plot lines, the character development, and of course the sweet romance. I loved that the romance wasn't the main point of the book, but more of the crescendo at the end of a great book.
Also, I want to be part of the Armstrong family!

I love anything Chrismasey! I loved this book cover. I will be buying this to add to my Christmas collection. I have never read anything by this author before but I am definitely interested now. It hit all the feels for me. Humorous, serious at times and romantic. I loved most of the characters and loved to hate some too.
Overall this is a book that makes you want to curl up in your reading nook with a hot cup of tea ans get lost!

That was a very lovely christmas read by Beth Moran! I really enjoyed it!!! It is very christmassy and at the same time there is so much more happening! A very complicated love story and questions that comes with it, a very challenging job career to handle, and lots of fun or complicated family moments in between! Oh and a trip to Scotland for a few chapters! Very good book, just a little too long for some parts and that is why I won't give a 5 stars to this book but "only" a 4. But it is a really good book that I warmly recommend to all of you!!!!

Cute Christmas-y friends to lovers, will they won't they-read. This book had the classic winter and Christmas setting, complete with a weather forecaster as the main character and quite a few snowstorms causing them to get stranded by snow. There was heart-warming back story with a school setting for troubled children, an elderly grandma, and a family who loved their time together during the holidays.

There is romance, roadtrips, and a decades old family mystery to solve. Lots to entertain and an overall enjoyable holiday read.

Super cute and cozy! I wish there had been a little bit more angst/depth to the characters' relationship, but I had a great time reading it. Perfect for those who prefer closed door romances.

Bea Armstrong is the wildly-popular weather girl whose life seems to be chaos lately. Recently single after a decade of on-and-off romance with her high school sweetheart, Bea’s job suddenly seems as stable as her former relationship. She’s missing meetings, can’t locate emails, and her boss can’t even seem to remember her name. With one final broadcast, Bea is off the air and headed home for the holidays. Home though isn’t simply home, but Charis House, the school her family’s run for decades. And the Armstrongs aren’t alone this Christmas: they have a very special guest, Henry Fairfax, the man Bea’s parents have been convinced she will marry since she was a child. Bea can’t stand Henry - that is until a job interview of a lifetime presents itself right before the 24th and he’s the only one ready and willing to help Bea make it there in time.

This was sweet but a little all over the place. It’s definitely a cozy Christmas read with lots of snow and charisma. Very heartwarming if not somewhat cheesy, like a classic Hallmark movie.

Thank you to Net Galley and Boldwood Books for the copy!

Bea Armstrong has made a name for herself as the local weather girl, but overheard a conversation that she was being let go for a younger version. Heading home to Charis House, the school in Sherwood Forest that her mum and dad run in their old family home, she was worried about telling her family. She is also not happy that Henry Fairfax, the neighbour her parents always thought she should marry, was also going to be there. When she gets a phone call about an interview to be the weather person on a national outlet, she has to figure out how to get to the interview, in Scotland. Henry comes to her rescue and offers to drive her, and she has no choice but to accept. Over the two days at the castle, she realizes that Henry is nothing like she thought, in fact, he is someone that she is very much attracted to.

I enjoyed this fun, festive Christmas story. There was family, friends, rivalry, secrets and a chance to make a difference and save a school, all mixed with Christmas festivities. I really liked Bea, as she was a genuine, caring person, who didn't realize how much others liked her and her weather person persona. Henry was also a lovable character. He has been in love with Bea for years and just wants her to be happy. He also wants her to be herself and not change for others. Everyone should have a friend like that to support and encourage them throughout life. At first, I was not happy with Bea's family as they tended to be rather demanding and closed minded regarding Bea's dreams, but they come around and grow to appreciate her as the story progresses. There are some not so nice secondary characters and some people that get their comeuppance, that are important to the story. I found a lot of humour in the 2 day interview Bea and Henry attended with activities that were a bit odd to determine who should get the job. I was actually thinking that Henry, aka the driver, might be offered the job. After Bea and Henry return to the family home, but story lagged a bit with some other characters being introduced, but the ending was wonderful and I loved the ending of the story and Bea's growth as a person.

I really really liked this one!
Let is Snow is funny, heartwarming and lovely. Bea is a local weatherperson who is spending the holidays with her family after a few years and there is a surprise guest, the man she has hated most of her life. There are twists and turns, a work competition, family drama, hidden secrets, and some Christmas magic. I really enjoyed the characters and the story.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Bea and Henry. They have know each other all their lives. Bea is a meteorologist and Henry is a teacher. Henry fifers to take Bea to Scotland for a job interview because she doesn’t have a way to go to Scotland. They become friends on their trip. They each have their issues but work them out together and fall in love.

I love Beth Moran and her patented feel-good style, but this one just wasn't for me. I couldn't personally connect with the characters, I found the constant time-switches and flashbacks a bit alienating and made the characters and their relationships feel very situational. I struggled to connect with them or really get their personalities due to everything going on and that left me not really ever getting into the flow of the story. This isn't necessarily the fault of the writing at all- and more likely a personal taste thing.

However, it's a great take on a classic Christmas hallmark with plenty of laughs, sweet moments and a lot of heart.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to find this book as an audiobook on my library app. I really love the narrator she did a great job. If you are wanting a light hearted Christmas read this is a good one. In my opinion the audio version is 10 hours long and honestly I think the story needed to be cut like 3/4 hours off. It kind of just goes on and on. There are multiple side stories and where I thought the book was ending I looked and saw I had another 4.5 hours to go! But all in all I loved all the characters. The main character is very sweet and I loved how kind hearted she is. I love her love interest. I love how nerdy he is and how they have been friends (sort of) and they just know each other so well but again they are so different from each other. I do love the cover.

I’ve wanted to check out Beth Moran for a while now and I’m glad Let It Snow was my introduction, I really enjoyed this. It had many heartwarming moments and moments of despair, basically, it was an emotional rollercoaster but in a good way. You could never tell where the story would go.

I’m really not a fan of ‘I don’t want to spend Christmas with family because they annoy me’ type stories because every single time the family is really nice and seem to have the most festive Christmases. For someone who wants to come across as sunshine personified Bea is pretty mean about her family to begin with. The reason why she didn’t want to see her family is because of her break-up but not a single person mentioned it (that I can remember) so that was silly of her. Thankfully she starts to realise that she loves spending time with her family and how important it is to do so.

I loved the background on Charis House and what the school was like when Bea was a teenager but I hated every bit of this book that had Adam in it. He was very manipulative and tried to play the victim all the time. When he showed up on Christmas day I was fuming.

I actually thought Let It Snow was going to take a turn I wouldn’t be happy with but luckily it did not. There is a need for drama and I get that but it would have been a huge mistake if it did happen.

Henry on the other hand was lovely. It was a bit weird that he told Bea to her face that he was ‘infatuated’ with her because let’s be honest that’s a bit creepy. However, he really was lovely and very selfless. Unfortunately, he didn’t really get any development and he seemed to only be there to chauffeur Bea around.

The two-day interview section was completely wild but very entertaining. I loved the entire thing, especially the journey Bea and Henry take and the problems they face getting back. It fed into many beloved tropes without seeming like the book was written for that purpose.

Let It Snow was fun but quite chaotic at times. This isn’t the type of story you would read if you want cosy festive vibes. There’s quite a lot of drama and a few overlapping storylines that you may find difficult to keep on top of. It was enjoyable but this is not a relaxing festive romance. Actually, there wasn’t much romance to speak of at all.

Basically there was so much going on in Let It Snow that it could have been split into at least two novels. The beginning and middle seemed a little too rushed and chaotic and the end was quite prolonged. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it though, I really did, it just isn’t my favourite festive read of the year.
