This is the next instalment of the Author's Admiral 'Black Jack 'Geary long running series - one that should not be missed
Reading the previous books , at least in this latest off shoot , is necessary to set the worldbuilding and characters in place

Having escaped the latest political setbacks , Jack finds himself tasked with leading a fleet on a diplomatic and scientific mission to the secretive 'Dancers' .......... a mission that will take them through space controlled by the deadly Enigmas
Jack faces peril not just from the Enigmas but from assassins and saboteurs withing his own fleet ....... for there are those who oppose allying with the Dancers at any cost .
When a third alien race , already allied to the Dancers , appear and ask for Black Jack's help in defeating another enemy he is placed in a difficult position ............. is this a test of Humanity's honour or is it a trap ?

This book is yet another entertaining , fast paced book by the Author , full of twists and turns it draws the reader in - just what will come next for Black Jack and his allies ?
I look forward to the next in the series

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
