It’s amazing that there are so many queer Christmas books being released this year. While I loved the diversity and representation in this book, it didn’t read as well as I had expected. I found the dialogue a little unrealistic and I wasn’t aware it was an erotic book when I requested. The language and way of describing during the sex scenes was written in kind of a strange way and I also found the characters relationships and conflicts resolved so easily and randomly. I think this book was aiming for a hallmark kind of feel and so I’ll let some of the cheese go but this book just wasn’t for me. I’m sure a lot of other people would enjoy it though.
