This book ticks all the boxes for me. It is set in outback Australia, it's a medical romance and it is a fast-paced story that had me run the gamut of emotions.

Our main characters both have their baggage, our heroine has travelled from England after the death of her husband. Our hero has been hurt because of unreliable women not being able to handle life in the outback. The problem is that despite their issues there is an instant attraction between them. Is it one they can fight, if they give in to it then one or both of them will get hurt, won't they?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am more than happy to recommend it.

I was addicted to The Flying Doctors in the 80’s/90’s so, along with the fact I’ve always loved Amy Andrews’ medical romances, reading this was a no brainer. If a romance featuring a very likeable couple flying round the Outback dodging flies and saving lives and whose chemistry fills every page with promise and sexual tension leading to a very satisfying payoff, then this is the book for you.

Chelsea is running from her past and she cant get much further than the other side of the world. When she gets there the last thing on her mind is romance but then she meets Aaron an outback flight doctor and suddenly she finds herself thinking that romance might be back on the cards.

I really enjoyed the setting and thought it really added to the story.

An enjoyable Australian Outback romance with great characters, an authentic setting and a good plot, The slow-burn passion between Aaron and Chelsea keeps you invested, and the conflicts in the romance are convincing. A lovely sensual romantic story with a medical setting.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Its been a while since I read a M&B Medical by Amy Andrews and it read like she was back in her happy writing space. Really enjoyed the story-line and characters and I hope we get more from her and hopefully in the form of a series very soon!

Classic mills and boons. I love them they are a guilty pleasure. Chelsea has taken a job in Aus and moved to the outback to escape her past and move on. Aaron barges into her room by mistake and sparks fly.
This was a great story and i couldn’t put it down. Thank you netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

A great look at life in the Australian outback and the lives of the flying doctors. The romance between Chelsea and Aaron is quick and easy although they fight it, but what makes the book is the reality of life and death in remote Australia and what life is like. We really feel the heat, the bloody flies and the desperation when things go wrong be that an accident on a sheep farm or a premature birth.

This was such a fabulous story with a delicious hero in Aaron - outback doctor who knew not everyone could settle in the Outback so never got involved with ‘outsiders’. The heroine Chelsea (sorry but what a name- I found it really difficult to take her seriously!) a widow who’d been betrayed by her dead husband - not just once but several times. She’d now decided to escape the demands of her in-laws and work in Australia. Beautiful set up for what turned out to be a delightful romance. The author writes so well.

I loathed the in-laws. What person in their right mind would expect the widow of their son to accept and be unmoved by the mistress and child of their son, her husband living with them and being central stage in their lives. I was delighted when Chelsea finally spoke the truth to Francesca but it shouldn’t have needed that for Francesca to know what they’d put her through. Nonetheless, the author wrote this so well and gave us a great rousing speech from Chelsea at the airport. Go girl!

Mills and Boon and NetGalley gifted a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
