A great thriller - I would recommend it!

I was super into this story for a good 75% of the book. Unfortunately, I feel like the twists made the story jump the shark for me a little bit. It seemed like some of the things were just in there for shock value rather than fitting seamlessly along with the characters.

Ali thought she had the perfect life, a loving marriage and an adorable little girl Mia. When Keith is lying in a coma due to a hit and run accident, he utters the words "I Took a Life" before he drifts away.

Ali starts looking for answers, digging through his personal belongings and it soon becomes apparent that he has been hiding something.

This fast paced book had me gripped from the first page and I could not put it down.

I did enjoy reading this book but at times it felt a bit disjointed. Almost like the author had several ideas and threw them all into one book. It did keep me guessing and I could see a sequel happening and would definitely read it.

This fast paced, gripping read hooked me from the first few pages. Once I picked this book up, I didn't want to put it back down again.

Avery gets a phone call that every spouse dreads--her husband was in a horrible accident and is now in the hospital barely hanging on. But what's worse is just before he slips into a coma, he tells her he took a life. Those four words are all she gets, no explanation, nothing further, and they ruminate, churning and sloshing. Could her husband really have killed someone? of "The Watcher," who is stalking Avery and her daughter Mia since the accident, spying on their every move.

This complex mystery evokes two burning questions: Who did her husband kill and did they attempt revenge? Who is watching Avery and what are their intentions?

The story is told from multiple points of view but every now and again we get chapters that are told from someone called "The Watcher." There are a few subplots running alongside the main storyline, but they are all tied up nicely at the end of the book. I like the authors writing style and I liked how the story ended.

Her well-defined characters are authentic and deeply human, making me empathize with them despite not approving of their actions!

Overall, MY HUSBAND'S SECRET is an edge-of-your-seat read that keeps you engaged and entertained the entire way through. It doesn't matter how believeable or probable the story is...it's the ride and entertainment factor I enjoy. I am thankful to @netgalley and the publisher for providing me the book in return of an honest review.

Oh my goodness WOW!!!! There are so many twists in this book that I was almost dizzy trying to keep up! L.G.Davis is a new author for me and one I will be looking out for from now on. Gripping book and highly recommended .

What a plot.

I found the ending was a tad rushed however but it didn't spoil the book at all. Such an engaging book.

OMG what have I just read! The physcological twists in this are unstoppable! I loved it! It was breathtaking and endlessly surprising.

Wow. My first L.G. Davis book and I am in awe.

A husband in the hospital breathes four words to his wife, shattering the life she has known to that point. How do you go on after a revelation calls into question the person you had built a life and a family . It’s a twisty ,scary moment by moment revelation. Just when you start to breathe, a child goes missing, your child. A great read.

Wow ! I love a book thats unpredictable. This book certainly was . Great pacing , fast just how I like it. It is told by many characters. The ending was just perfect.

I’ve not read anything by this author before, but after this, I will definitely be checking out the back catalogue.
This was intriguing, had suspense, full of mystery & lies.
Well written characters with an unexpected ending, I genuinely, enjoyed this one.

I absolutely was unable to put it down as there was SO much suspense in it. I loved how easy it was to read and believe me I didn't want to put it down to make dinner as it was that good! :) The ending totally blew me away. I can't wait to read more books by this author! Do yourself a big favor and read this ASAP!

Man what a wild ride this story was. Avery had the perfect life, daughter Mia, loving husband Keith. Everything was great. Then one day Keith was hit by a hit and run driver and was in critical condition in the hospital. She didn't know if he would live or die. She spent many days by his bed willing him to wake up. Daughter Mia spent time with Avery's parents and a family friend. One day Keith wakes up and whispers I took a life. That set Avery on a journey that forever changed her perfect little families life. Don't blink or you might miss something. There are lots of twist and turns and in directions you never expect. Make a great movie.

The suspense and plot twists in this book were great, it didn’t take me long to get through this book! The characters were well thought out and was hooked to the end!

I found this to be super similar to so many I have read lately, It wasn't twisty enough to keep my attention . 2 stars

This book definitely draws you in, until the last page. There were so many twists which I look for when reading a book. It was well executed.

This was an awesome read. Probably spend just half a day to finish this. I’d reccommend this to those who would love a decent thriller that could keep them guessing through to the end. Really good.
