I feel like the uses and benefits/downsides of cannabis use is a really relevant topic right now as it starts to become more widely legalised across the world. There were some really interesting insights in this book, although perhaps it could have been more informative as to different medicinal uses. An interesting read.

Higher Connections by Eric and Alexandra Right is an interesting look into one person's experience with marijuana use and how it has affected his life. Obviously he is all for it, making the case that it has enabled deeper thinking and all sorts of other experiences he has never had. Seemed more to me that it was a man justifying his marijuana use to himself. I have no problem with its use and am an MMJ patient, using it for postherpetic neuralgia pain. I'm just not sure who the audience for this book would be.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

I laughed. I loved. This was a random not normal genre for me but I thought the blurb sounded like exactly what I needed. I was right. It's not the next great American novel but I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. There wasn't any one thing that stands out so I lack a way to pro and con the title. It felt like home. A mixture of some 1970's hippie commune of free love and the journal entries of someone with grand and impossible ideas. It felt like watching Dazed and Confused while being "dazed and confused". Perfectly enjoyable. A strong 3.5 star.
