Such a fantastic finale to this brilliant series of books.
It was wonderful to catch up with Nick and see a second chance at love come his way.
It reminded me a little of Notting Hill, seeing a word known star mixing it with a quiet local community. You definitely get to see a kinder and more down to earth version of Aurora, and once her backstory is given, it’s easy to see why she behaved the way she did in the first book.
It’s a lovely community that this series is set in and it was fabulous to catch up with all the characters from the previous books.
A gorgeous end to a awesome book series, I’m going to miss my visits to Mermaids Point.🧜🏻‍♀️

There’s not a lot to say except read it, you won’t regret it.

Famous music star, Aurora Storm, has made a fabulous come back, only to be caught in a media storm that leaves her baffled and desperate to escape. She contacts Nick Morgan, and he agrees to be her pretend boyfriend while she regroups at Mermaids Point. Nick and Aurora have a history together and he thought he would never see her again. Can he make her stay with him this time?

Mermaids Point and its inhabitants make you feel welcome and leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. The kind that makes you say aww, as you read the last word, close the book, and stare into the distance with a wistful look in your eyes. Nick and Aurora absolutely fit together, and their story concludes this beautiful series.

I can highly recommend this book if you like the pretend relationship trope that slowly develops into more as Aurora not only falls in love with Nick, but with the town as well. Each book in the series stands well on its own. Starting with book one will allow you to get to know all the characters so much better.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I know that I was not alone in my hopes that we would eventually get Nick’s story and it would include Aurora Storm. Nick has been a terrific character, always offering love and support to his friends and family. There was a brief chance that he would find happiness with Ivy, but that was not to be, as we saw in ‘Love Blooms’.
As the book opens, Nick has finally completed his renovations of the old warehouse that has created some luxury apartments. He’s now looking for his next opportunity, ready for when the final apartment unit finally sells. Meanwhile, Aurora is starring in an ensemble show in Las Vegas and loving life at the top of her game. Despite her success, she still reflects on her time in Mermaids Point and her brief relationship with Nick.
It's not a spoiler to tell you that Aurora’s world crashes down around her ears, and she flees to the security of Mermaids Point and the arms of Nick.
Nick and Aurora’s relationship had always seemed like the stuff of dreams but ultimately doomed because of how different their worlds are. Nick enjoys small town life, surrounded by family and friends, while Aurora has worked hard to find her own fame and fortune, but at the expense of her relationship with her family and friends.
I just loved this gorgeous book which was the perfect conclusion to this delightful series. All the familiar characters are present and it’s a real treat to see them all finding their happy ever afters going from strength to strength. We meet a new character, Angel, who is well matched to the bookshop cat, Lucifer. Sarah Bennett perfectly tied up all the storylines and created a conclusion that delivered happiness by the boatload.
With plenty of references to the previous books, this can be read as a stand-alone story, but I would highly recommend immersing in the whole series and enjoying all the Mermaids Point has to offer.

This is a beautifully written book that was a joy to read. It's a heartwarming feel good book that is full of romance, emotions and Christmas spirit. Loved it!

Three stars because I feel its the weakest book in the series but it's still very enjoyable. I was worried that I wasn't going to warm to Aurora as she didn't come off the best in the previous books but once you're properly introduced to her character and learn a bit about her background, you realise that she has a heart of gold and she is hugely likeable. Nick as I've said before is an absolute sweetheart (swoon). This was a sweet, slightly heartbreaking yet relative read (as regards the Me Too movement). That was dealt with very well in the book. The Mermaids Point series was a joy to read and I'll miss the characters.

This was a brilliant, uplifting read and hard to review without giving spoilers away. You will have to read the book to find out if Aurora and Nick and the other inhabitants of mermaids point got their happy ending.

So lovely to be back in Mermaids Point with the members of the Morgan family & their friends.
Sarah Bennett is one of my very favourite authors in this genre, she creates wonderful series featuring interesting, fully-formed & believable characters entwined within storylines that captivate the reader and hold interest from start to finish, and her Mermaids Point series continues to shine.
I love that we see the previous main characters in the series continuing to feature so we can keep up with what is happening in their lives while following the unfolding story of Nick Morgan & Aurora Storm, whom we met in a previous book.
Another lovely, feel-good story. Sarah Bennett never fails to deliver. I’m not sure if there are any more Mermaids Point books planned, as all the Morgan family & friends appear to be living their happily ever afters. It would be lovely to return to Mermaids Point, but if not I do hope there’s more to come from Sarah to add to Butterfly Cove (my favourite series in this genre, I fell in love with it completely) Lavender Bay and Mermaids Point.

What a wonderful final book of the Mermaid Point series! I absolutely loved this, full of romance, Christmas, and a wedding!!! Brilliant!!
We have been following Nick, brother of Laurie right from the first book!! It was fab to find out more of his character and to see the family from his perspective. This is Nick and Aurora’s turn and it didn’t disappoint.
For me this is the best of the series, although I have loved them all. Cosy, comforting, warm hearted, reading this is like curling up in front of a log fire with a hot chocolate with the twinkling lights of Christmas all around you!!
Loved it and highly recommend for a cosy Christmas read!! Can be read alone, but worth reading the whole series!
Sarah Bennett has surpassed herself with this one!!!
Thank you Boldwood books and NetGalley for the very appreciated early read!

I have read all of the Mermaid's Point series so it was wonderful to read the final book. It was great to read about Nick and Auorora's story as I'd been curious for a long time wondering what would happen to them. All the characters create a warm and loving community where problems are shared and resolved . An ideal world!!!.
I shall miss them!!.
Many thanks to Netgalley for the free ARC book for an honest review.

Happy Endings at Mermaids Point has all the charm, romance, and heart that fans of Sarah Bennett’s books have come to expect from her books.

I always get excited when I get asked to be on one of Sarah's book tours. I have grown very fond of the Mermaid Points series and was excited to head back there for the holiday season. This is the fourth book of the series, but it can be read as a stand-alone because Sarah does a fabulous job of bringing her readers up to speed in the first few chapters. But honestly, this is a delightful series, and if you are a fan of charming English romances, you will want to read the previous books in this series. Overall, I really like this book. It has Sarah's hallmark English romance charm, a quirky cast of characters, an adorable animal, and a story that moves you. Sarah also has this remarkable ability to make each story in this series unique and unforgettable. Each couple's love story has its distinct voice and never felt like things were becoming repetitive.

This story focuses on Nick and Aurora, who first met up in the first book in the series, but Aurora left to pursue her music career. Fans of the series will know that Nick has been nursing a broken heart in the previous books and has been pinning over Aurora. These two reunite when Aurora finds herself the subject of a scandal and needs Nick's help to help calm the social media waters. The chemistry between these two is evident right from the moment they reunite. There is something that just clicks with them, and as a reader, I felt a certain amount of rightness to their relationship, which is weird because they really shouldn't work as a couple because they live such different lives. Nick is such a sweetheart and a darling of a book boyfriend. He has got that boy next door vibes to him, and I love how he interacts with the people around him. He is thoughtful, funny, and charming, really the perfect combination you could find in a guy.

Fans of the series will be delighted to catch up with previous couples, and I was secretly delighted with how much time Ivy and Alex got in this book (because they are my favourite).
Sarah also focuses on the toxicity of social media and how harmful it can be to a person's life. Aurora's life looks like it would be all glitz and glamour, but the reality is that she often has to deal with social media trolls and "fake" news that seems to circulate on the internet.

Happy Endings at Mermaids Point is a nice and easy holiday read that will leave you feeling all festive inside.

Thank you, Boldwood Books and Rachel Random Resources, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Loved my latest visit to mermaid's point though sad it's to be our last time ..why??? Such gorgeous characters that I want as MY friends! Aurora Storm is on the cusp of fame performing in Vegas when she's offered the chance to star in a big film. The audition appears to go well and though, slightly discomfitted by the prolonged hug the producer gives her , she doesn't read too much into it especially as his wife is watching. She is not prepared for the massive media fallout which follows and especially not for the narrative being peddled by the producer and his wife. Her reputation and morale in shatters ,she turns to the one person she knows she can trust. Soon she is being surrounded by the love, support and friendship of Mermaid' s Point and what starts out as a pretend romance soon becomes very real. Delicious book, like being wrapped in a warm duvet ,sipping hot chocolate!

A nice, gentle read, as good as any of the others in the series. A bit picture perfect in terms of the depiction of the village and family life, but hey, we need some escapism at the moment. With thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Right back at the beginning of this series, we were introduced to Aurora Storm, the impact she had on Mermaid’s Point has almost rumbled on through all the subsequent books, she was the enigma that caused one of the Point’s residents, Nick to give his heart away and he has never been right since. As he has witnessed his sister Laurie find what she has always been looking for (Summer Kisses at Mermaid Point), his aunt Nerissa who never thought she would recover from her lost love (Autumn Dreams at Mermaids Point) and even Ivy the girl everyone thought he would end up with (Love Blooms at Mermaids Point), he is convinved he will find love one day.

That is until a storm blows back into Mermaids Point. That storm is Aurora, after being caught up sadly by a media storm, caused by the manipulation of many in America, Aurora needs a reason to distract everyone and probably herself from what has happened – enter Nick.

Nick has to play the dutiful boyfriend and has to convince the outside world that there relationship is true. All the while convincing himself and his family that he is okay and that he will recover from having his heart broken. He is strong enough to cope.

But is Aurora, strong enough to suddenly be thrust into Mermaids Point, into the family life of The Morgan’s and the full-on run up to Christmas. Perhaps being a popstar is not what she really wants?

As always, Sarah Bennett has a canny way of introducing current issues to her novels without them sounding contrived, this was important in the way that Social Media used and spat out Aurora as it does seem to with many well known and less well known people. To see the rawness of how this affected the character, made me really think about how we treat people who expose themselves in this way. Of course Aurora had the support and love of the wonderful community of Mermaids Point to help her heal and they do it so effectively and cleverly you cannot see it happening.

With a great big dollop of Christmas and Festive cheer, the perfect ending to this series of books and the happy ending we all wanted. It felt right to leave the characters to their lives, something which doesn’t always happen at the end of series of books, you always feel there is something else to be told.

Another classic from Sarah Bennett and I look forward to where she is going to take me next.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

This book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the series from the beginning, so that you get to know the characters who live in mermaids point.

The book is Aurora’s story, her journey, how she started her career and whether she gets her happy ending. As well as that we meet our old friends and families, along with Nick, who we see more of.

It has times when you will laugh and cry. Sarah Bennett has written a fabulous book, which is was hard to put down.

The story is so much more than just romance, proving that you can achieve anything with the assistance of family and friends.

It’s sad that this is the last book in the series, but am so looking forward to the next series.

I highly recommend this series.

I haven't actually read the previous books from the Mermaid's Point series but this was a nice simple read. It fits right in with the Hallmark Christmas spirit.

It's always sad to say goodbye to the character and a series you liked but it was a heartwarming and festive goodbye.

Four and a Half Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭒
Happy Endings at Mermaids Point by Sarah Bennett is the fourth book in her popular Mermaids Point series. It’s also the last book in the series and wraps it up very nicely. Fans of the series are sure to be pleased with this final book.

Aurora Storm has finally got her pop singing career back on track until a social media blow-up makes her need to change the narrative. She goes to the only person she trusts to help her out of the mess, Nick Morgan from Mermaids Point. Nick and Aurora had a relationship prior, but her music career took off and she had to leave. Nick is both surprised and pleased to see Aurora again, but he’s also wary, as she broke his heart once before.

It is so sad to see this delightful series end, but, I love how the author wrapped everything up. Aurora and Nick’s relationship started in book 1, so it’s fitting that the last book is all about the continuation of their relationship. Nick is just adorable, but it’s a little harder to like Aurora, as she’s a pop star and a bit self-centered. But, when she’s around Nick, her true self comes out and she’s very likable and perfect for Nick.

Really, the best part of this book and the series is the townspeople of Mermaid Point and it’s always so nice to see them grow and change throughout the series. This last installment included all the Christmas holiday cheer and to see the characters all get-together and celebrate the holidays together makes for a wonderful holiday book. And I want to thank the author for the character list at the beginning of the book, as it always helps to remind me who is who.

I highly recommend Happy Endings at Mermaid’s Point to anyone who enjoys women’s fiction. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I first discovered Sarah Bennett's writing last year, and I've been really enjoying my time with her stories ever since. I didn't exactly read the Mermaids Point books in order, but thankfully they are quite easy to read as stand-alones because each book focuses on a different character. True, we did see Nick and Aurora already in the first book, and you will find spoilers for the outcome of the previous books so it might be wise to read them in order to avoid those. They all make for great reads in the first place! But if you do want to read Happy Endings At Mermaids Point first, the book has a very helpful list of the different characters in play with a little bio for each one included so it's easier to figure out how everyone is connected.

Happy Endings At Mermaids Point is the fourth (and last) story set in the fictional Mermaids Point, and I've been loving the small town community vibe where everybody knows each other and they all step in to help whenever needed. It really makes me wish the village was real so I could visit! The Christmas themed setting makes everything even more magical, and it was the perfect backdrop for this basically feel-good Christmas romance story. And it gets better! Book four will also add another furrry friend to the character mix, and you are going to love him.

If you have read the first book, you will probably remember Nick and Aurora. I've been wanting to see more of them ever since I read that book, and Happy Endings At Mermaids Point definitely delivered for me. I liked the focus on Aurora's career and how it showed how quickly things can escalate even with her doing nothing wrong... And how social media is quick to judge and the truth doesn't really matter. That and what happened to her in the past gave the story some balance from the holiday cheer, although the plot itself is mainly uplifting. There is even a wedding to prepare for! And I loved how Aurora fitted in so well with the rest of the Mermaids Point community from the very beginning...

There is just just something about Sarah Bennett's writing style that really works for me, and this story is particularly uplifting and festive. I loved seeing all the different characters together during the holidays, and Aurora made for a great addition. I enjoyed seeing the bond between Nick and Aurora grow, and the dog Gabriel was another winner. All in all yet another successful Mermaids Point sequel for me!
