4.5 stars!! I absolutely loved this book. The characters were so lovable and I really loved reading about them. Especially how relatable and real they felt, there wasn't that overly perfect book character nonsense. They were flawed and they overcame their differences. The pacing was also perfect and the plot line felt very original and different! I read this book in a sitting because i couldn't put it down. Cannot recommend this book enough <3

4.5/5

“When you see your own anger against the backdrop of someone else’s love, it’s easy to spot your shortcomings. And it’s not pretty.”

When Meyer’s local hospital calls to tell her that her husband has been in an accident, she’s confused… and quite rightly so - she isn’t married! Turns out, her ex-husband has amnesia, from his accident, and has forgotten the last couple of years - where they fought and ultimately ended up getting divorced. The doctor has advised it’s best to let him figure things out in his own time. So what’s a girl to do?

I really loved this book! The characters are believable - who doesn’t like a narrator with a heavy sarcastic streak - and the relationship dynamic is overall believable. You get glimpses of before the accident Marchie (that’s my couple name for them) and you can see how their behaviour towards each other matures throughout the story.

It’s hard to go into too much detail without giving some of the plot twists away but, needless to say, if you’re looking for a light and easy read that can genuinely make you smile, this is the book for you!

I also thought that epilogue is a lovely touch. I really enjoy finding epilogues in romance novels as you get a little, heart-warming glimpse into the happily ever after.

Meyer has been divorced from her ex, Archie, for about a year. She has been trying to move on when he comes crashing back into her life quite literally by crashing his plane in the small town where she lives. Meyer's life flips upside down when the doctor tells her that Archie has amnesia and it would be best if she lived like it was 2 years ago. That means living with Archie again in the home they bought together when they were married. Meyer is not sure she can let go of all the hurt enough to pretend that they are still married but also begins to hold on to the small hope that maybe this could be their second chance.

This was such a fun and quick read! I read it in basically one sitting and couldn't wait to find out what would happen. I loved reading this from Meyer's perspective and found myself thinking a lot of the same thoughts that she did. I can really relate to Meyer's struggle and growth in learning how to stand up for herself. Overall, I loved this one as it was one of the more unique storylines I have read and it definitely made me smile.

WOW. I mean, wow! I literally devoured this book, I purposely read it slowly because the pace keeps me so hooked and I don’t want the book to end. If you love :You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle, you’ll definitely love this!

Awesome synopsis and I love the cute cover. THE WHOLE BOOK is *chef’s kiss*. The only BUT on this book and the reason the MCs divorced was that I found it very hollow. I'm still in a process if I love or hate second chance romances but then AGAIN I do love this one so.... what can this say about me.

If this book is not gonna blow up, I don’t know anymore. I heard this book from Tiktok and added this immediately.

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

PS: I’ll re-read this anytime soon.

Fans of Letters to Molly by Devney Perry and You deserve each other by Sarah Hogle, you need to read Forget Me Twice by Carina Taylor.

A second Chance romance between a divorced couple and an ex husband with amnesia that still thinks they’re married. It is angsty, emotional, funny and sweet. Carina delivers a fun and yet emotional romance where two people see where they went wrong and fall back in love again and that second chances sometimes mean the right person in the wrong time can get their happy ending. I love how they bantered and teased each other and see how much they still love each other and want to make it work when they see they both needed to communicate.

I loved this book and I enjoyed reading and tearing up while reading it. The beauty of second Chance romance is seeing the past, the hurt, the love and how they slowly fall back together. Forget me twice had such a quick paced plot, character driven, a funny cat and such an original storyline. Definitely recommend everyone that loves angsty romance books with a memory loss trope throw in the fun to read it.

I absolutely loved this book and plot. I feel like as of recently I have seen much of the amnesia trope so this was fun to read again. I would definitely buy this and recommend this book further as it was such a fun read. Plus the ending was perfect!!

This book had me laughing.
The characters were loveable and witty.
When one ex-spouse gets in an accident and forgets he's no longer married... well, you can imagine the humor in this plot. It was entertaining, but heart warming too.
This was a second chance romance that touched on forgiveness in the best way.

This book was so very good!! I loved the concept so much! Meyer’s ex-husband if a year is in a small plane crash that leaves him with a gap in his memories. He doesn’t remember their divorce or that their marriage is anything but happy. Upon doctor’s orders Meyer brings her ex-hubs, Archie, home to live with her so he can regain his memories naturally without hurting his brain more. Ummm…yes please! I loved this unique story line and if thet was not good enough Meyer and Archie are the most lovable characters. Their banter was perfection and seeing their struggle through this difficult situation was full of heartfelt moments, but also ones that had me giggling out loud!

I highly suggest this feel good romance. It will keep you turning to the pages as you root for Meyer and Archie to finally find happiness again.

I really, really liked this book, so much that I finished it within 24 hours. I don't remember the last time I finished a book in 24 hours, but here we are. First, I know nothing about amnesia, but the premise makes for an engaging second chance romance story.

Meyer and Archie get their second chance at love after an accident lands (haha) Archie back at his old home in Oregon with Meyer without his memory of the last 2 years in which he has divorced Meyer. What are you supposed to do when you bring home your ex-husband who thinks you're still married!? Well...you have to read the book to find out! But I can say you'll get:

-Witty banter and lovable characters
-Forgiveness and self-reflection
-Romance (no spice)
-Second change romance
-Laughs throughout

I highly recommend this book for a quick fun, feel good read with lots of laughs. Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher, and author for allowing me to read early in exchange for an honest review.

This book was so cute. I love a second chance romance book, but this was the first one i've read where they used to be married. The amnesia plot also made it more interesting to read. I loved Meyer and Archie as characters. It is very common for people to get married young and not be fully read for that commitment. I loved that we got to see how both of them had grown over the past year and how they learned more about themselves and what they wanted.

I did not really like that in that entire year they never reached out to each other. How do you go from loving someone to no contact at all.

The prequel was very confusing and almost made me stop reading. I dont get why we got a random POV from Margaret. I think it would have been better to not have one or some prequel about the fight. The scene is shown later in the book and I think parts of it could have been shown as the prequel

I do wish more of what they talked about while Archie had amnesia came back up. Like how Meyer got drunk that night and was assaulted which resulted in her not drinking anymore. This seemed like a big plot point and I would have liked to hear them talk about it when Archie remembered why he was the "reason" as Kingston said.

I love a second chance romance book.
I like them even more when they centre around a divorced couple who are thrown back together into forced proximity.

In this case, due to amnesia.

This was very funny in places and sweet.
It's perfect if you're looking for a nice easy read.

I would have liked more angst and tension from the MCs considering the nature of the storyline.
It felt like they were just kind of breezing through it in places and I would expected abit more emotion.

Having said that, I still really enjoyed this book.
The humour and cuteness was there, it just needed fleshing out alittle more to give it the extra spark.

I was so excited about this book since the moment I got to know it's second chance between divorced couples with Amnesia trope and I am glad I don't regret picking it up when I finished it. MeyerArchie were so perfect together. The humour in this book is so good which is rare in a book with this trope. While the angst level is bare minimum I loved all the humour this book had given.

I really hope we get a book for Kingston and Willa though.

Forget Me Twice was a good time and a super quick read. Meyer and Archie have been divorced for a year when she gets the call that he's been in a plane crash, suffers amnesia, thinks they're still married, and the doctor recommends Archie staying with Meyer as the best treatment option.

The sweetness and humor made this a fun read. I wish the author had explored more depth in the relationship. Anything remotely substantial was treated with kid gloves and quickly resolved, and I think the story and characters would have been far more compelling if the topics were given their proper due.

Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op and NetGalley for providing an advance reader copy for me to review! I enjoyed it.

This was such a good, funny yet also serious read, that I’d wholeheartedly recommend. It was very well written, and it was good to see the misunderstandings that lead to the divorce, and also how they’d each grown as people since. I read it all in one setting and thoroughly enjoyed it

The book was really easy to go into and read in just one sitting, but it really felt kind of rushed.
I really liked the story and the whole plot, but everything happened so fast I couldn’t even see the main couple together. Yes, they were living with each other almost through the whole book, but u did t feel any tension between those babies. Since the FC was really angry at her husband, it should I say ex husband I expected so much angst and miscommunication.. sadly there wasn’t so much of it. It was cute that H was caring and being sweet towards h, but again wasn’t enough for me. I was brought up on really hard groveling, and meanwhile both of them were at faults, the whole fight seem dumb too, I wanted them to make it up to each other so bad.
The moment of truth, when everything came out there really wasn’t anger either. Both of them just acted like highschool sweethearts after impulsive breakup.

First, I want to thank Netgalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

If someone were to ask me what trope I think is so underrated, it would be the trope that revolves around the second-chance romance of an already married/divorced couple. Forget Me Twice has this trope and it's just a rollercoaster of fluff and tension.

When I saw this on Netgalley, I was immediately captivated by reading the description. I was genuinely curious. Was Archie, the husband, pretending? Was it really an accident? Did he really get amnesia? I wanted to know the answers. And, I wanted to see how the husband will try to "fix" their "fight." I wanted the angst. I wanted the groveling. However, it kind of lacked the groveling and angst part for me. It felt rushed, which was honestly a wasted potential because the premise of the story is honestly nice. Taylor's writing is fun and easy to read. Meyer's self-awareness is a major mood. Archie's wit is funny as heck. And, yes, despite the fact that it did feel a bit lacking, I still enjoyed this book. It was a really great read for me. The tension between them. The character development. The awareness and growth the characters had were simply *chef's kiss*

Do I recommend this book? Absolutely!

This book has:
-Second-chance romance
-Sick to Nourishment
- Lovers to enemies to strangers to lovers

Amnesia, second chance romance, forced proximity

When Archie crash lands his plane in Meyer’s town, he develops retrograde amnesia for the last 2 years, forgetting that they have gotten divorced.
This is a very sweet romance with little conflict. It’s a very vanilla, zero steam relationship.

“To power nappers around the world. You truly are amazing. Please teach me your ways.”

There is nothing I would love more than to be a power napped while doing a job I love! This book was a cute second chance romance with a twist. I enjoy books that showcase a broken marriage with characters that grow both as a couple and individuals.

This was a really quick read and easily can be done in one sitting. Though this book was enjoyable, it was too fluffy in execution. It was too sweet and lacked depth that I was hoping for this kind of story. I wanted a bit more drama or a bit more grit from a story that centered around a fractured relationship. I think those looking for a surface level book that is easy to read and with likeable characters and a fluff story, this book is for you.

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for this ARC

I TORE through this. I'm a sucker for plot lines like this. The second chance/marriage in trouble type trope is so difficult to pull off and Karina Taylor did it so well.

The two things I wish we had more off: some chapters from Archie's perspective and more of how their marriage failed contrasted with how they changed.

When the initial chapter wasn't from Meyer's perspective I got excited that we'd get to be in other character's heads and was let down that they were all in Meyer's perspective. A few from Archie and maybe some of their friends/family would have been very cool.

I also loved seeing their broken dynamic contrasted with the newer one but wish there was more showing and explaining HOW they grew and matured not just that they did.

Regardless, this book was a great read-in-one-day story. 3.5 stars.

3/5⭐️

I enjoyed this book & pretty much sailed through it! The plot in itself was completely unique & different but I feel it could have been executed better. The characters were super surface level & I made no real attachment to them or their story by the end. I didn’t get the giddiness or butterfly’s that usually come with romcoms. I feel we were robbed from so much of Meyer and Archies story. We never learned how they got together? Why they got divorced in depth? Or much of a “resolution” / growth time period. It was just they got divorced, he appeared back on her doorstep and boom, they’re back together. Despite the surface level ness of this read though, it was still good. I ate it up & did enjoy it. So I definitely recommend it but don’t expect a lot?! It’s also not dual pov sadly :/ I feel like I didn’t really know Archie because I only got Meyers pov the whole time. Still despite all that the writing was good & the overall idea.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publishers, and author for this arc in exchange for a honest review!
