This beautiful picture book teaches readers about all of the animals who live near the lake in British Columbia. With the most stunning illustrations that will be sure to draw readers in, met with detailed yet easy to understand information about the animals and their habitat, this book is sure to be a hit with young readers. The illustrations are so neat. They look like they might be done in pencil crayon, I could definitely see this book being the perfect opportunity to use as a mentor artwork for creating art with my grade 3 students. I also love that the book has an accompanying colouring book! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read and review this book!

Bobby went with his mom to Northern British Columbia, Canada, to live in the bush off the grid and to learn more about the animals and habitat of this wilderness area.

Sketches/illustrations were too good and can be said to be good enough to attract the readers and specially children to bound them with the book. This, if adds to any curriculam can be a good fun for children of 4-8 years. There is a good insight on the varied animals for KGs to learn about and to get familiar with the activities of mentioned ones.

Only thing that made me upset while reading and was difficult as well, was the setting of fonts over pictures. Firstly, fonts were set over the pictures; secondly, the size of font was not apt to read with an ease.
So, its all on editing by publisher and not on the content by the author.

For me it is 4.0/5.0

This is a well written book which describes living in the North extremely well. So much so it feel like you are right there living it.

Beautifully written story that describes living in Northern BC so vividly it is easy to imagine you are with them.

I love the respect for nature no matter how small the book describes. I also loved the message that we are the earth's guest and it is our responsibility to not interfere in it's ways.
