OMG. Why did I wait over a year to read this? I loved every single second of this, and now I need to read anything and everything by Lindsay Lanza.

STRANGERS TO FRIENDS TO LOVERS is going to be my new favorite trope. I am obsessed.

Lucy and Henrys story is going to be one that I hold close and go back and read time and time again. I absolutely adored them.

Lucy is a fun, bright, glass half full line of girl who chased the small things in life. Despite his own battles, Henry is such a a soft cinnamon roll and I love him and will protect him at all costs. 🥹🫡

From their very first meeting I was HOOKED. I was kicking my feet the whole way through. Considering it's a strangers to friends book, I think the pacing was perfect. Nothing felt like it dragged or moved too quickly. As if the relationship between L & H wasn't enough to hook you, I absolutely LOVEDDDDDDD The found family in this story.

This was a first for my by the author and it definitely won't be a last!! (can you even believe this was a debut????!!)

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

The writing was so good. I really enjoyed the ending of this book, but it felt like it took a while to get there with not a lot happening to keep me interested in between. I would still recommend this book because it had such a feel-good, sunshine vibe.

Speechless is a debut from this author, and a very beautiful story. It captured me right away.

Lucy and Henry’s meet cute begins on a plane (airport) involving the cutest dog Rowan the service dog. Something about it from the moment these two characters meet, feels so realistic and refreshing. They bond instantly, what’s the catalyst to this? He’s a composer and she’s loved his music for years.

This story isn’t just a typical rom-com; these two have been through so much in life, but I believe the power of music and fate, brings them together. Music after all, can heal a soul that’s broken.

Speechless has layers of depth and I felt the connection between the main characters as well as supporting (HAAAM). It was relatable and the found family it created within the pages were the glue that held it all together.

Speechless has dual perspective (which I love), mutual pining, author/composer, and endometriosis & social anxiety rep (which is so important).

It’s a beautiful slow burn that morphs from strangers-to-friends-to-lovers. And like a magical song that never leaves you, we get to watch it all unfold.

The cover is also amazing!

I loved this book and 100% recommend it. I cannot wait for more wonderful stories from Lindsey.

This is the second Lindsey Lanza book I’ve read and it’s just as cute as I was expecting! This is an arc that’s sat on my kindle for too long but I will say I’m glad I listened to the audiobook over eyeball reading it - I loved Ariel Royce and Bryant Walker as narrators. Some of the accents were a bit off but overall it was a good 4⭐️ book! I enjoyed Lucy and Henry’s characters, and the chronic illness and mental health representation was done with so much sensitivity and respectfulness. It was a really nice friend’s to lovers romance overall.

Very nice read for everyone who loves a good romcom. If you’re wondering on what to read by the beach, this is the perfect book.

I LOVED this book! I read this in a couple of hours, I just couldn't put it down. The story was told with such care. I don't normally love a slow build-up, but this one was done just perfectly.

Unfortunately I just did not click with this one.

One thing I did really enjoy is the representation of chronic health and mental health.

I picked up her debut, Speechless last week and loved it so much that I had to grab a print copy for my shelf - the kindle version is on #kindleunlimited and the audio is on @hoopladigital if your library participates!

I wasn’t prepared for how much I’d love Lucy & Henry and Lanza’s writing, but I can’t wait to read her latest, A Little Bit of Magic which is a Hanukah retelling and couldn’t be out at a better time!

This was a cute one. I liked it. Will I read it ever again?! Really do not think so. An average 3 stars read for me

The perfect book for lazing by the beach and drinking in the summer. I loved the opportunity to escape to Malibu.

It's rather heavy on the pop culture references, which I feel likely to age it rather quickly.

I've had Speechless for awhile now and I had mixed emotions reading it. Parts of it I really enjoyed and other parts gave me the ick. Sometimes I liked Henry and Lucy together and sometimes I found them so incredibly frustrating. I did like how invisible disabilities were portrayed and how they approached infertility. I think I would be willing to try another book by Lindsey Lanza. It was cute and fluffy, but was just missing something in my opinion. I was actually suprised at how much I enjoyed this book, because after the first bit I wasn't sure I would. The characters are written fantastically and the plot is great, so that probably why I enjoyed it so much. This book isn't just a normal RomCom, it involves a little bit of an emotional journey due to one of the main characters struggling with an illness. It's a quick read, but that isn't a bad thing.

Loved reading this one! Lucy and Henry's chemistry was off the charts. I loved seeing how they both supported each other in the best possible ways. They both had their insecurities and flaws, and the author handled those aspects with a lot of care.
