The High Mountain Court is a fast-paced, thrilling fantasy romance that is full of yearning, humour and plot twists.

The main romance in this book is AMAZING. It is so incredibly well written and believable. The relationship develops slowly but realistically, endearing both characters to the reader. It has a little spice which is well done and felt perfect for the tone of the book.

The cast of characters is vast and diverse. The secondary characters are well developed and all very different. I loved the dynamic between the whole crew; it gave major found family vibes.

And the plot - wow, just wow. Absolutely incredible rollercoaster ride of a story which I cannot wait to continue in the second instalment!
