Gitte Tamar is just not for me. Their style and concepts are too mindmelting for me to enjoy. Sorry.

I found this book very hard to get into and then difficult to keep my interest. When something did happen there was no build up. It was very repetitive. All in all a very mediocre read. I hope other readers will enjoy it more just not for me.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for giving an honest review.

It was meh. It felt repetitive and I didn’t really connect with the characters. I had high hopes for this book but it just didn’t do it for me.

This was...a little hard to read. I'm not sure if it was the writing style, or that I just wasn't a fan of the main character (which it's fine to be a villain, but he was repetitive: I get it, you hate women and want to take them down a peg). It felt like a slog to get through. I think the tone was good, but it just wasn't personally for me.

This one wasn't a win for me. There was just something about this book that I couldn't get into. Maybe because there was no build up to the horrific things that happened. Maybe I just couldn't connect to the main character. But this one just didn't work for me.

Also lots of repetition and it was super wordy.
