This was an enjoyable read that flowed well and is by a new to me author.

I liked the characters and setting of this one.

This is the 5th novel in the Outlaw mini series and Maverick is the final brother to get married. Maverick and Sapphire have been friends with benefits for years. Phire has to tell Maverick that not only is she pregnant but her father, Simon Bordella wants her to have an arranged marriage. Her father doesn’t want her to do this and tries to stop her. Full of sex, plot twists and solves questions about the Westmorland land raised in the other novels.

This is a great standalone novel but something is missing if you haven’t read the previous novels which raise questions solved in this one.

I didnt realise that this story was part of a series and have not read any others, I don't feel that this took anything away from this book and it can be read as a stand alone.

Maverick and Phire were friends with benefits until she suddenly discovered that she was pregnant, now Maverick needs to claim not only his child but also Phire.

A quick, easy read that you would expect from a mills and Boon with a story to match

Sexy, smart and swoon-worthy!

I think I did a bit of a blooper when I came into this book, as I hadn't read any of the previous books from the series and I did feel as though I had missed out on something. But saying that, I did enjoy reading The Outlaws Claim and I will certainly be looking out for the other books in The Outlaws series, I just wish I had started with at the start instead of book five.

As well as this being my first book in the series, this is actually my first-ever book by Brenda Jackson. Why?? Who knows! I think I must have been walking around with my eyes shut, ah well I will certainly read more from her.

Despite not reading the previous books and not quite knowing who everyone was, I did enjoy meeting these gorgeous cowboys. I have recently gotten into Cowboy romances (I blame watching Yellowstone back to back and falling in love with Rip) and I am really enjoying these stories, and seeing as the publisher has stopped publishing historical western romances, I am going to have to get my fill of new-age cowboys instead, aren't I?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, it's packed to the rafters with emotion and little intrigue, and utterly tantalising and gloriously gorgeous cowboys (yes, I am smitten) I liked the narrative and how the story was told, it's sweet and cute but there is a lot of depth in the plot and the characters are likeable (or downright swoon-worthy, drop to my knees in absolute love-able) I liked how they developed and grew over the course of the story.

For my first foray into Brenda Jackson's work, I am now hooked, The Outlaws Claim is a relatively short but fast-paced story, with a few twists and turns and lots of grizzling, tempting emotion. I just I had read the other books before this!

THis was a great story, I've dipped in and out of this series and the previous one and I have to say that I love seeing that whole family grow and get through their struggles whatever they may be. This one is a classic FWB to more situation but with a bit of a surprise baby.. This was a fast paced book that had you turning the pages to see what happens next!
