Hunted by Roberta Kray.
Stealing from the rich is what Cara Kendall does for a living. She's twenty-four, bold and fearless, convinced that she'll never get caught. But everyone's luck runs out eventually. When she breaks into a house in Hampstead, she gets more than she bargained for - a body in the study and the law on the doorstep.
Absolutely love books by this author and this one is no different , its brilliant !
We follow Cara and her life as a girl criminal . Some things she gets away with and some not .
Newly out of prison and expecting her boyfriend to meet her at the prison gate , he is a no- show . Things go from bad to worse when she makes her own way home and finds that he has subletted her home.
Loved the character Cara and the people ( good & bad ) that she comes across.
This would make a good tv series of drama.

Fantastic new crime thriller from the queen of crime herself. As usual meticulously written with the fine detail as standard
This book is about Cara newly released from prison and trying to get a sense of normality into her life. Her on /off. boyfriend isn’t there to collect here from the gates and she arrives home to find he has sublet her flat. This is only the start of her problems.
Was brilliant and enjoyed reading this book hopefully we will hear more of Cara in the future as it’s left open at the end. Was full of characters old and new.
Highly recommended read
