Well, I ended this book in the same way I started it, in floods of tears. I don't know if it's just me being an emotional person, but this genuinely had me heartbroken from the off.
We always think we have more time, we will get to that project tomorrow, there's another day till that's due. Who knows what's round the corner. We need to take time and really see what's going on around us.

I love being given the opportunity to update our school library which is a unique space for both senior students and staff to access high quality literature. This is definitely a must-buy. It kept me absolutely gripped from cover to cover and is exactly the kind of read that just flies off the shelves. It has exactly the right combination of credible characters and a compelling plot thatI just could not put down. This is a great read that I couldn't stop thinking about and it made for a hugely satisfying read. I'm definitely going to order a copy and think it will immediately become a popular addition to our fiction shelves. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Emma is having the worst day of her life! Imagine if she could change the outcome. A deeply hilarious and honest book that had me grinning from ear to ear!

A lovely book, one that will resonate with any harried, busy woman trying to keep the show on the road and faced with the impossible task of keeping everyone happy - as well as a reminder of how fleetingly short and precious life can be. Spending it wisely with those we love and learning the power of saying no to the noise that overtakes our days. I loved it and I'm delighted to see it was chosen as an @reesesbookclub pick for November - well done @cescamajorauthor! Thank you to @netgalley for the ARC.

Anyone who's watched Groundhog Day will recognise this story - you wake up, the day repeats, and whatever you do doesn't break that cycle. Maybe Next Time follows that cycle, but with less testosterone and more nuance than that film. The writing is excellent, the sad moments done exceptionally well, and though the plot isn't the most original and the outcome fairly predictable, this is a charming book that's well worth a read.

In its nature this book could’ve ended up repetitive and boring but although we see Emma reliving her day and battling to change outcomes and deal with the torment it is more about her journey and understanding of her place in life and how she wants to live it, what choices she can control.
It’s thought provoking and emotional, well written and at its heart a bit of a love story.

I received this as an ARC and provided an honest review

I am heartbroken because this trope can’t never have a full HEA, this one is all about the journey.

Believe me I understand why at the beginning you are going to dislike Emma. It’s easy to say why can’t she just prioritize the right people and do the right thing but we are human and it’s in our nature to make mistakes.

This journey it’s all about making the same mistakes because you know the ending won’t change and then realizing that even though the end cannot be changed, how you get to it is all on you.

I loved Dan’s last letter.

Wow. This was a beautiful story. One of my few 5 star reads of this year. If you love books by Jojo Moyes, you will love this book.

While i struggled to get into it at the beginning, this had me in tears eventually - which is a win as it takes a lot for me to have a good cry!

Cecsa Majors writing is brilliant and consistent. While some people have said this reminded them of Groundhog day (while the central plot may have been inspired), this stands on its own as original in it's own way and stuck with me even after finishing it. I think i have found my new favourite author.

Thank you Harper Collins for allowing me to receive an ARC

This book was well written.

Emma ends up repeating the same day over and over again with the same outcome Dan her husband dying. Emma changes things with the day but everything she does it happens again and again Dan dying.

I did enjoy the book but found it very repetitive I felt the ending was a bit different but you never really knew what happened was there a nice outcome or not, it might be for us to make our minds up that it could a really nice ending.

This is a wonderful, sad heartbreak of a book but will give you hope. It follows a slightly confusing main character who has a lot to learn, it does get a bit complicated and I occasionally needed to read the first chapter again to remind myself what was happening but it was a great premise.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

This has definite Groundhog day feels too it !
Emma is a literary agent who is always on the go and someone who can't say no - her phone is either ringing or full of WhatsApp messages that she never seems to find the time to answer. She spends all her time trying to catch up with everything and doesn't have time for her family. The day the story is set is her anniversary and every year Emma and her husband leave each other a letter celebrating another year of their marriage - the highs and the lows - however this year she forgets. She is so wrapped up in other commitments that the day rushes by and she doesn't remember and then a terrible tragedy happens.... She has to relive this day over and over .... I really enjoyed this book and shed lots of tears .

Ein wirklich schönes Buch, was einen in diesen Alltag rein saugt. Ich konnte mich total in die Protagonistin hinein versetzen. Es hat meine Ansichten sehr verändert.

This book will leave you appreciating your life. The people in it and to not over worry about the small stuff. I still can't get the characters out of my head. And I can't wait to see what this talented author comes out with next.

The premise is that Emma, is a literary agent who can't say no to outside commitments, so she spends all her time trying to make sure she's doing all she should. The trouble is, she's been neglecting her family really badly. Today is the date that her and her husband Dan write letters to each other and celebrate another year together. They reminisce about past events that have been funny or romantic. They celebrate their love
Another year goes around and it's now that important date. She's forgotten to write a letter because she forgot what date it is. She's even forgotten to acknowledge the date to Dan!. She's been so wrapped up in her work life and outside commitments. The commitments that she swore blind she would finish with and spend more time with her family. Dan is not happy. Then something awful.happens that turns her world upside down. She has to relive the same day over and over.... Can she change the outcome and make life better again?......
