The Dreamland Billionaire Series is one of my favourites, and this is no exception. Whilst this books differs slightly in terms of content from the others, it has the most substance by far. Cal Kane is next to fulfil his grandfather's will, which results in returning to his small town holiday home and facing the love of his life, Alana Castillo after a bad break up. Six years have passed, and many things have changed.

This book was an incredible insight into the struggles of addiction, and the resulting impact to the people surrounding you. Cal's addiction takes centre stage, and the way Lana coaxes Cal to make the choice for himself in order to lead a happier life. Asher places added emphasis on the way words chip away at Cal's self confidence, and how he must overcome the low expectations set by friends and family in order to be fulfilled.

Lana was truly inspiring, a courageous mother to her niece and watching her prioritise her daughter as well as her own heart when it comes to Cal. I enjoyed the way she supports Cal in his journey, giving him a flavour of what life could be like.

Asher successfully manages to summarise the series bringing back old favourite. Iris and Zahra are the best duo anyone needs and the insight into the future was so heartwarming.

I highly recommend! Thanks so much to Little Brown Books and NetGalley for the eARC. All opinions expressed are my own!

I enjoyed the first two Dreamland Billionaires books but this one far surpassed it. It is far heavier than the others, with more depth in the characters and a tumultuous journey, that has already spanned years, between Cal and Lana before they can get to their HEA. Cal is dealing with an alcohol addiction, as well as ADHD and anxiety, and he makes a lot of mistakes. Lana is protective of herself and her daughter and makes it clear immediately that if he wants to change, he needs to do it for himself before they can truly move on from their past. It’s emotional at times, very sweet – especially the relationship between Cal and Cami, and the sexual tension leads to great spice too.

I absolutely loved this finale to the Dreamland Billionaires series.

Cal was the main brother that I was interested in reading about as he comes across as the funny one in other books, but it becomes apparent very quickly that he’s dealing with struggles that others may not be privy to.

I enjoyed Lana as a character, as she comes across as very believable as a parent. The decisions she makes in regards to her and Cal’s relationship and her reasonings resonated with me at times, and I think that’s why I liked this couple the most.

I loved the first two books in this series so I was over the moon when my request for this arc was approved. I started reading it right away and just finished it and I’m speechless. What an amazing book!😍

I went in 100% blind. I had no idea about any of the tropes and even though Cal was in the first books, it’s been a while and I didn’t remember much about him. All I knew was that this book was considerably longer than the other two, which I was a bit worried about ngl. Almost 600 pages seemed excessive but even though it is longer than usual, there weren’t really any parts that dragged and/or felt unnecessary so the length was not a problem and I had the best time reading this book!

I love a good second chance romance and this one really delivered. Cal and Lana have my whole heart🥺 I loved following along as they found their way back to each other! It certainly wasn’t easy but it was 100% worth it.

Cal is amazing. I’m truly obsessed! He’s funny and witty and so gentle and caring. The way he loved Lana and did everything he could to help her and make her happy was beautiful and heartwarming. He worked to be better, to be the version of himself that she deserved and even though it wasn’t easy, he wasn’t scared to do it. I loved his development throughout the book; learning about his struggles was heartbreaking at times but seeing him do the work and become a version of himself that made him proud put the pieces back together.

And Lana.. what can I say. She is incredibly strong and badass! I love her so much! Even though she’d been hurt in the past, she tried her best to see the best in people and always tried to help Cal and encourage him to do better. She supported him when some people would probably have left but stood her ground when she had to and didn’t take shit from anyone, not even him.

I’m also in love with Cami- she’s hilarious and her interactions with Cal were the best, and she truly brought so much light and joy to this story!🥹

Seeing Rowan and Zahra, as well as Declan and Iris, was also great! I really liked knowing what they were up to and particularly loved the way the brothers interacted in this book, especially toward the end - you could really see how far they came and how much happier they were once they started working on themselves and their relationships.

This book is a big emotional rollercoaster. I honestly lost count of how many times it made me cry. There were so many ups and downs and I really felt for Cal and Lana, who just wanted to be happy but knew there was work that needed to be done. Addiction is awful and so hard to overcome and my heart broke for Cal on many occasions. I thought the way this book approached it was really interesting, though it was painful to see him struggle like that.

5 stars is not enough. If I could give this book more I would. Definitely my favourite of the Dreamland Billionaires series! I absolutely love Cal and Lana and I’m so happy they got their happy ending. What a fantastic end to this amazing series! Can’t wait to see what Lauren Asher does next.

★ 5/5 Stars ★

A BIG thank you to Little, Brown Book Group, Piatkus and NetGalley for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book was one my most anticipated reads of the year. I just knew Cal will be the superior brother and boy was I right. I really liked Lana's character and I also don't usually like reading about children in books, but I adored Cami. Her and Cal's relationship was very adorable.

It’s everything I hoped it would be and more ❤️ Cal’s story was the most complex, I think. I loved his journey and finally getting to learn about his back story. The tension between him and Lana in the first half of the novel was deliciously unbearable, and their banter was funny and endearing. The tropes in this one made it feel a bit different from the others in the series - the friends to lovers, small town romance, second chance romance, single mum vibes. And of course, I LOVED that there was plenty of Declan and Rowan content. The final epilogue was perfection 🫶

Oh. My. God. When i say this book was amazing, I truly mean this book was amazing.
I enjoyed every single page of it, I could not get enough of Cal and Lana. The story of their love, the flashbacks, the yearning, him being obsessed with and head over heels for her from the beginning was everything.

The character development in this story was so well done, it is by far the best book in the dreamland billionaires series. Whilst I enjoyed the first two books, I am obsessed with this one. I rooted for Cal from the beginning, his struggle with addiction and self-love was so heart wrenching and I wanted the best for him. The way he acted with Cami was so so so sweet and I loved that for Lana. Lana was also a well rounded character, I loved how she stuck up for herself and Cami, how strong-headed she could be and I loved her love for bakery.

The love story and the ending for me was perfect. I feel so attached to the characters, they 100000% have a spot in my top romance couples of ALL time. I don't care what anyone says, Cal and Lana are IT for me.
Truly the best Lauren Asher book I've read, I am so thankful I received an arc for this, this book exceeded all expectations I had.

Final Offer by Lauren Asher (Dreamland Billionaires)
Release date 31st January Rating *****
And just like that the series is over with the Final offer. I had been waiting to see how Cal’s book would come about as soon as I started reading the series. Thank you for Netgalley and little brown for approving me for an Arc of the last in the series.
If you have not read the other two in the series do that before reading this one. Cal Kane is a complex creature and I think this is why I was drawn to him, this book at times made me laugh, made me scream and made me cry. I adore this world and I hope that we will see them again even if it is just a cameo because I don’t think I am ready to let go of the Kane brothers and their love interests just yet.
I can say I adore Cami with my whole heart and she needs to be protected in life and I am sure that at the end of the book she will be. Alana is fiery and someone who will fight to protect her love ones at the expense of herself at times, which include opening herself up to love. Cal, he’s the brother that has always been underestimated but mostly by himself- his journey is so fitting to wrap up the book and the way it parallels a couple of other people in the book gives a satisfying ending.

There is plenty of spice in this book and second chance romance because Cal has the task of showing a woman he left six years ago that he is worth another chance. Lauren Asher has become now an auto buy author and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next, because whatever it is sign me up.

The Kane's may own Dreamland but there's no fairytale reunion or magic wand to fix the past for Cal & Alana. Just a lot of dares, hard work and love 🥺
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
This book is the reason I don’t give books star ratings because 5 stars won't even touch how good this book is. Lauren has completely outdone herself! It's very hard to talk without spoiling, so I'll keep it as vague as I can...
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
A second chance romance with what is possibly the best second chance romance I've ever read? It has a whole other level of character development. The main message being self-love and the good that can come from it but also the process of reaching it.
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Their reunion was anything but easy but as they get to know each other again their chemistry is undeniable and it's like they've never been away from each other. I wish we got to see more of their younger selves - and yes if it added pages I don’t care. If this book was 1000 pages I’d still have read it.
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
In Cal's case, the ugliness was in the form of his addiction, and the anxiety that has come along with it. We've previously seen Cal as funny, dirty-mouthed and quick-witted but in this book, we see his true anxious self and it's very hard to read at times.
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lana, can I trade you a hug for a tres leches 👀 She is a stronger woman than I'd ever be in her situation, her vulnerability was truly inspiring to read. I know it's not a competition but... Iris is my forever gal sorry🤭
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's tough to say goodbye to the Kanes, but this was the send-off they deserved. For those who have witnessed me sobbing over the past 2 days, I am not sorry but only have feelings of encouragement for you to NOT get into the mess I did. Should there be a pack of tissues with the purchase? Simple answer, yes 🤧

Final Offer by Lauren Asher is the much anticipated third and final book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. We’ve already read Rowan and Declan’s story in The Fine Print and Terms & Conditions, now it’s time for Cal’s.

The Kane dynasty consists of three devastatingly handsome brothers and their repugnant father. After the death of their grandfather, each brother is set a task in order to claim their inheritance and finally ice their abusive father out of the Dreamland empire…

Cal is definitely the black sheep of the family. He’s a washed-up athlete that turned to alcohol and drugs at a young age. Before his downward spiral, he was in love with a girl, Lana, however, after suffering a career-ending injury and bearing the brunt of his father’s hostility after the death of his mother, Cal turns to alcohol and Oxy. Feeling worthless and depressed he turns his back on Lana, leaving her brokenhearted and completely devastated.

Six years later, the stipulations of his grandfather’s will demand that he returns to Lake Wisteria and spend the summer at the old family lake house. The only problem is, his name is not the only one on the deed.

As with Asher’s previous books, Final Offer has a dual POV which I absolutely adore in romance books. It would be so easy to dislike Cal. On the surface, he’s just a spoiled trust-fund baby that never grew up. In reality, his low self-esteem, his grief and his addiction, combined with his ADHD diagnosis, led him to rely on destructive and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Final Offer takes the second-chance love and small-town romance tropes and creates a really beautiful and heartwarming story that’s genuinely sweet and emotional. It’s a lot more touching than the other two books and although it contains Asher’s trademark sprinkling of spice, it’s actually pretty adorable.

I did feel like there were a few pacing issues. The middle part seemed to drag on and then the ending was over in a flash. There were also a lot of huge events that were glossed over in the epilogue that left me feeling a little blindsided.

I did however love how the Kane family reunited and interacted throughout the book. It gave me all the warm and fuzzy feelings to see all three brothers conquer their demons and create the family they deserved.

I dare you to read this book. Honestly this book deserves more than 5 stars, I was so excited to read this before release. Cal and Lana deserve everything! If you love second chance romance then this book is for you. It’s so strange to have finished the dreamland billionaires but it really didn’t disappoint. Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read it early

It’s no secret that this has been one of my most anticipated reads since I met Cal Kane so when the arc appeared on my kindle two days ago, I dropped everything to read it and I could not stop. This is hands down my favourite Lauren Asher book.

Let’s get the elephant in the room out of the way; Callahan Kane this THE book boyfriend, THE Kane brother. Golden retriever energy, funny, witty, caring and a dirty af mouth? I always knew he was gonna be my fave LA man but it’s good to finally confirm it 😌

Lana is badass, she takes no shit and she looks out for her people. I love her sm. Their banter and tension was SO. GOOD. They had me out here giggling and kicking my feet and blushing (when they weren’t making me sob my heart out).

Lana being there for Cal but knowing she deserved better, and Cal working to be better so he could be the best man for her had me so in my feels. Watching him transform from a words man to an actions man was everything (He really appealed to my act’s of service love language 😂)

One of my favourite things to read is character development and this book does it so well. It takes you through the highs and lows of suffering with self love and self acceptance. Watching Cal suffer with his addiction and loving himself had me sobbing. People are so mean to him and the way he thinks that’s what he deserves broke my heart.

Getting inside Cal’s head where you get to see the opposite of the witty, funny brother he lets everyone else see. Where he’s anxious and self-deprecating and worried. God, it had me sobbing.

This book hurts. Like I had to keep putting it down to compose myself kinda hurts. The way it portrays alcoholism and shame and anxiety and doing the wrong thing even though you know it’s the wrong thing because you don’t know any other way was so powerful. But watching him come out the other side and watching him heal his relationship with himself, Lana and Declan was so rewarding.

Even though I’m sad this series is over, it was the perfect farewell to the Kane’s and I can’t wait to see what Lauren has in store for us next. 🥹🫶🏻

Final Offer is the third book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. It follows Callahan and Alana and is a second chance romance. Cal is the Kane brother that everyone talks about, he is seen as a mess and is a high functioning alcoholic. Lana Castillo was Cal's childhood best friend but he broke her heart when he left Lake Wisteria. Cal cannot get his Grandfather's inheritance unless he spends a summer at the lake house with Lana. Cal and Lana will have to live together and work through their differences. This is the second book I have read by Lauren Asher and it was enjoyable. The book was written well and the story flowed well. I had a good grasp of the characters and understood their motivations. I can easily see this becoming people's favourite romance of 2023. The sex scenes were written well. I am giving it 3 stars because I did enjoy it but I struggled with the length. 592 paperback pages is just too long for a contemporary romance. I also struggled a bit with Cal and Lana and seeing how they would work long-term as I never really believed Cal was working through his alcoholism. I always felt as if he would start drinking and I didn't believe he was in recovery. That is a personal issue though and I can see many people loving this. Overall, I am glad I gave this a go.

I have really enjoyed this trilogy and for me this was a great way to end the series. I loved the characters and I felt the more serious issues were tackled well within the plot. I think this was my favourite of the series albeit I think all of them were just that bit too long!

A good read if you’ve enjoyed the series to date.

There isn't much to say about this book without spoilers but this is easily my favourite of the series.
The found family trope is amazing 😭
Cal and Lana, I love you 🤍

This book is in a league of its own within this series! The previous two books failed spectacularly for me but the prospect of Cal and Alana motivated me to push through the series. I loved Cal in the previous two books— he was the shining star for me despite being a side character,. While the enigmatic Alana only intrigued me the more she was mentioned. So, suffice to say I was waiting with baited breath to see if they could save this series for me... and they knocked every one of my expectations straight out of the park.

The pacing was PERFECT! Second chance romances thrive on good pacing because without it, the whole romance crumbles. But Lauren Asher nailed the mutual pining full of tension while Cal and Alana worked through years of trauma and betrayal, love and distrust. She managed to translate their previous bond from when they were younger into the adult versions of them in the present without info-dumping or relying heavily on flashbacks. Their bond was palpable in the way they interacted and viewed one another, but it was also dripping in hostility too. I think Lauren Asher captured the balance incredibly well to allow us to root for them and understand WHY they love each other, but also allowing us to understand why they couldn’t be together just yet.

Now the romance was spectacular. The tension, the pining, their history, their soft tenderness... all of it amounted to a romance that made me feel so giddy. I was blushing and smiling and grinning so much. I just had a wonderful time reading this!

I think the star of the show was Cal and his journey with addiction. It wasn’t easy to read at times— he struggles with self loathing and grief, alcohol and drug addictions, guilt and resentment. He really goes through it in this book, it’s not an easy journey for Cal, Alana or us. We have to see him at his lowest, we see him make mistakes and stumble and fall and pick himself back up. It’s full of turmoil but hope too. Because watching him succeed was incredibly fulfilling too. So this isn’t just a story of romance but of second chances, following your dreams, and never giving up!

And also a shoutout to the cutest little button of a character, Cami<3 I adored her and she was such a refreshing addition to the story. Loved this final instalment. My only complaint would be it’s a tad too long, it was a hefty book to get through and I think it didn’t need to be that long, but ultimately this was the perfect end to the series! I want a book about Violet now, Lana’s best friend, since she seemed super interesting!
