I was torn between three and four stars. At times Max is downright unlikeable, but as he is the narrator it can be frustrating to hear him not getting it! It was predictable and things slipped together very neatly, a little too tropey and instalovey, and chasten was just too perfect, but it was enjoyable, easy read.
