Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC. There's nothing wrong with this book but it wasn't for me - it didn't grab me but I also didn't find it particularly relaxing.

Thank you for advanced copy of the chapters.

I have read previous work by this author and this memoir introduction left me speechless.

Beautifully written about a very raw and emotional situation that changes your life in a heartbeat. The timing of this happening alone is heartbreaking. The language used evokes all sort of emotions.

I will definitely purchase this and read the rest.

Highly recommended

I enjoyed reading the beginning section of Bedtime Story by Chloe Hooper and would appreciate the opportunity to read the rest. It explores her experiences of having a seriously ill husband and the solace that can come from books and stories.

Chloe has a beautiful way of writing that makes you feel like you’re listening to an old friend. While the content is dark, she writes in a way that is easy to digest. She delivers it perfectly, a gentle story for people dealing with cancer alongside the juxtaposition of it being a memoir at the same time.

I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of the first three chapters through NetGalley, but Chloe writes with such eloquence that I am hungry for more. Thank you for sharing (this part of) your story with me Chloe. I can’t wait for this to be released.
