Book Two of an already exciting series comes another tale of werewolves, witches, and magic. Note: if you have not yet read the first book in this series, read that first. This is not one that you can jump into having not had read the first book, especially as it picks up right where the first book left off.

That being said, this book has a decent plot and is pretty easy to read. The world building is enough to keep the story along and honestly, a fun read. I loved the idea of the MMC's homecoming and the ides on how pack tactics work in the lycan world. O'Connell does a good job of giving you an emotive fantastic story to keep YA readers interested. And of course, it ends on a cliffhanger making you want more.

This is a great paranormal fantasy, especially for young teens.

It starts at a slow pace, gradually building to non stop action.

The characters are well developed and this certainly left me wanting to read more.
