A very informative and interesting book. I always like hearing from Dr Michael Moseley, he is relatable and I wish he could be my family GP.

I would definitely recommend this book for those who want to make healthy changes.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for gifting me this arc in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

I like how straightforward and practical Dr Michael Mosley's advice is, whether in his documentaries, podcast or books and this was no exception. A nice reference book to come back to from time to time as you incorporate the small changes into your daily routines.
Thanks to NetGalley, the editor and the author for the opportunity to access this copy.

This is quite a useful book and written in a friendly and easy to understand way. However, I have listened to Dr Michael Mosley on his podcast and most of the information in this book I have heard already.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% my own.

I really enjoyed this book. It was the perfect length and the ‘one things’ were explained well. I wish there were more than one study used to back up some of the points, but other than that I found the ideas presented really legitimate. I can see myself implementing some of these ‘one things’

I may have to check out Michael Mosley’s podcast soon!

An accessible and straightforward guide to making changes in your life. The changes seem small, but habits become normality and lead to great changes. Mosley gives relatable examples, encouragement and pragmatism.

I have already tried out several new ideas which make me feel I have achieved something, could easily add other changes and I also feel positively about creating new habits and looking after myself.

I became interested in Michael’s books after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I followed the fast 800 recipe book and managed to reverse my diagnosis in 10 weeks. His writing is easy to understand. He explains how he and his Doctor Wife have worked together to provide the best information for people to tackle their problems.

Thanks NetGalley for letting me read this for my honest review.

I’ve never listened to the author’s podcast that the e book is based on, but I’ll look out for it and see if I can listen on my morning commute.

This book is packed with little tips to help improve life and longevity with a bit of the background science to back it up.

I already try to balance in one leg when brushing my teeth. And I’ll be increasing beetroot in my diet. The tips aren’t patronising and Michael always tries the tips he promotes.

I’d recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve their life

Just One Thing by Dr Michael Mosley shows how simple changes can transform your life. They are simple but the same as everything you must want to change things in line to succeed.
`This is not a book you need to read in one setting, this is more like - read a bit every day, try to implement changes, to if it's working for you.
This is a book you need as a physical copy, you will want to highlight things and mark some pages as important.
This book is not rocket science and most of the things we already know but it's nice that it's summarised in one place.
I will not list all the changes we can make but I will advise you to get a copy of this book!

Thank you, NetGalley for this book and I am running to grab my physical copy now :D

Firstly, I apologise for this very short review but I have been unwell for some time and am beginning to catch up with books, food, dogs and everything else!

I am aware of Dr Mosley’s media presence so was curious to see how his “Just One Thing” radio program would be presented in book form. Of course, an ebook is never so convenient as a print for this type of book but I can see how good the print edition must be.

Short chapters cover each “thing” with simplicity and humour. No condescension, no patronising, just good, clear advice. I’m not a fan of self help books and usually avoid them and I suppose this is in that genre but I enjoyed it very much.

I love reading the author’s articles in the Daily Mail and was happy to read this. I wasn’t disappointed. Informative and well written. Highly recommended

A great little read. Mostly common sense but it often helps to be reminded of the basics.
Amazing how simple easy changes can have such a dramatically positive effect on your health
I was delighted that I’m already doing quite a few of them and especially pleased to see how good reading is for you.

A really interesting, straightforward guide to small tweaks we could all make to our lives to improve health.

You probably know many of the ideas featured in this book, drink more water, walk each day etc. However it's handy to read the science behind them to remind yourself why you should be doing them. There's also some new ideas I hadn't come across before, such as eating more beetroot!

I like the way it was laid out, broken into times of day that the author suggests you might want to add these healthy habits in. Plus the idea of just adding one thing at a time is not too overwhelming, it makes it seem much more doable.

The book is fairly short and quick to read, a fair amount of full page images and quotes as fillers but I did find it a useful read.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publishers and Dr. Michael Mosley. While I haven't finished this book, I plan on perusing this on my own time for certain problems and triggers I may encounter while working and/or with my family.

Really useful book. I enjoyed how everything was broken down. It was easy to read big sections or small parts.
I’m
Definitely going to be putting some of his tips into practise and it feels achievable which I think is key

This book is put in a very simple format and is quick and easy to read if you’re busy and on the go, with basic language used and set up so you can pick and choose what you read. In fact, it’s written in a way that would make this ideal if you want to read a quick chapter/section before bed each night or if you’re looking for something quick and easy to read whilst on the toilet. Allowing you to clearly read the section that’s most appealing to you at the time, taking up a few pages on any of the giving topics. It’s informative on the subject, highlights some of the benefits and the study and other people’s research behind each new thing and includes how to introduce and maintain this change.

I did find myself skimming through certain sections that were not of interest to me, such as meditation and so forth. Not only do I not like meditation, but there’s just some stuff I don’t have the time to do or try to include in my daily life. However, if this is something for you, it does include ways and tips on how to start, plus all the benefits of meditating.

Thank you to netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this. All opinions are my own.

I had my eye on this book for a while and even more so after it was recommended to me by a specialist healthcare professional.

This book was brilliant. I enjoyed reading the science behind the 'Just One Thing' examples and was pleased that this wasn't too technical or I'm depth. Descriptions and examples were to the point and in terms that were easy to understand. The case studies were great too, knowing that 'normal' every day people had also tried these ideas and found benefit from them too.

This book is one that you can dip in and out of when you have a spare 5 minutes. I read it cover to cover but you absolutely don't need to. There are lots of examples of ways to make small changes that lead to big differences. I was also fond of the emphasis on finding what works for us as individuals. Although to be honest there weren't any ideas that I wouldn't be willing to try.

The information in this book is precise and interesting and will leave you wanting to read more.

I would and will be recommending this book to everyone and have already purchased a paperback copy to keep to hand. The only recommendation I would make is to write a book two for more ideas and tips to make a change.

Great book to dip in and out of. A lot of it is common sense but some great little tips and the best time of day to incorporate them.
