Always enjoy a Sarah Morgan book, although they are usually set at Christmas.
This one is set on the island of Corfu and is about the wedding of Adeline's mother. They are not close, as Adeline has lived with her father since she was young. There are revelations on the way that come along totally unexpected. Thoroughly enjoyed

When Adeline finds out her mother is getting married for the fourth time, she dreads the wedding.
She and her mother have never been close, not since she was sent to live with her father as a child.
Cassie is looking forward to the wedding but looking forward less to seeing her stepsister again.
When revelations are made they rock the whole family and everything each of the sisters believes in.
Really good book

A story told from three perspectives set in beautiful Corfu. I could almost feel the sunshine on my face. The description was vivid.
Sarah Morgan never fails with her feel good stories and I absolutely adored this one.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review. It was pure pleasure.

Unsure how the story of 'Summer Wedding' was going to unfold it kept my interest throughout. Written by the perspective of 3 people Catherine the mother and writer, Adeline the older daughter of the first marriage and Cassie the younger daughter of her second marriage.
Catherine living in Corfu invites both daughters to join her in celebrating her getting married for the 4th time.
What really worked for this book was the story of 3 peoples perspectives in what had happened in the past and in the now. 3 totally different personalities coming together.
Sarah Morgan has a lovely way of building Characters and wanting to know how the story develops and so becomes a book you don't want to put down.
This is my honest review for Netgalley Advanced Copy.

I usually feel more drawn to Sarah Morgan's Christmas novels than the summer ones but the idyllic setting of Corfu was so well drawn that I could almost feel myself there. The characters, as always, were both complex and relateable.
Morgan was obviously drawing on the world she knows best as Catherine is a well known romantic novelist and her daughter Cassie is set to follow in her footsteps; I felt there was a degree of irony at play at times!
I quickly guessed who the groom would be but this did nothing to spoil my enjoyment of the perfect holiday read.

Thankyou to H.Q publishers for such a wonderful read
Sarah has given us another incredible book, with brilliant summer vibes , estranged half sister , a mother with a pretty colourful past and even better a mystery groom , I can hear you swoon already . I was sold on this and loved everymoment.
The characters I thought was all very well written to the point I could really feel how they was feeling I think that is very powerful if a book can do that to you .my favourite characters had to be Adeline just loved her wit . Both sisters very different I felt there was very mixed emotions between the two .and they both had very different relationships with their mother .
Sarah writing is beautiful as ever always flows so well and I think she so clever at keeping you interested not just with the plot but the characters and emotion in the story .
I highly recommend this for your summer hoilday read ,the book is out in June so keep your eyes peeled .
I'm giving this a very sunny 5 stars 🌟

Have always loved Sarah's books and yet again this one did not disappoint.
Catherine, an author, living in Corfu, is getting married for the fourth time although won't divulge the identity of the groom.
She is desperate for both of her daughters to attend the wedding. Adeline her eldest is very reluctant to attend. She does not have a good relationship with either her mother or her sister Cassie. Adelines parents divorced when she was young and after the birth of her sister Cassie, was sent back to England to live with her father.
Cassie grew up with a strong relationship with her mother, particularly following the death of her father.
As these three women come together under tense circumstances, family secrets and resentments are revealed. Can their relationship ever be rebuilt after the misunderstandings of the past.
A brilliant thought provoking, heart warming read. Highly recommend.

Yet another great read from Sarah Morgan. Thought provoking at times with interesting characters and a great story line. Recommended.

I love a wedding but this one is anything but straightforward!
From estranged half sisters to a mystery groom initially the only saving grace seems to be the beautiful location but even that is triggering for Adeline, who has a difficult relationship with the bride, her mother.
With moments of great tension as well as joy this is a great read!

Sarah Morgan has delivered again with this story, slightly obvious in the plot however truly believable and you didn't care knowing how it would go as the writing is magnificent.

A great little book. Thank you gforbletting me read it. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters b

I love Sarah Morgan, although I've been more partial to her Christmas books than summer recently. But this was so lovely and had that magic she weaves into each book!
I loved the relaxing Corfu setting and the family relationships as usual were fantastic.
More exotic settings please!

Summer Wedding by Sarah Morgan is an absolute delight. Filled with captivating characters and intense emotion, this beautiful story takes you on an unexpected journey as you uncover family secrets, deal with forgiveness, and experience true love.
Adeline and Cassie's complicated relationship with their mother Catherine, who is planning to marry for the fourth time, sets the tone of the book and highlights the strength of Catherine's will and perseverance in her attempt to bring her daughters closer together. Each of them is trying to heal past wounds, accept each other's presence, and also face their own fears and doubts. With each character adding their own distinct charm and complexity to the narrative, Summer Wedding truly is a heart-warming story that celebrates the beauty of redemption and reconciliation.
Morgan has an exquisite ability to spin the strands of an intimate and raw story into an unforgettable story. Her beautifully drawn characters, detailed settings, and intimate, conversational tone of the narrative keep the reader fully engaged, leaving you wanting for more.
Summer Wedding by Sarah Morgan is an engaging and unique novel that highlights the complexities of family dynamics in an emotional and vivid way. A definite must-read for fans of Sarah Morgan's novels!

This is a great holiday read and one which made we want to be on an island and able to swim in the sea.
It showed that nothing is what is seems and sometimes we all make up our own stories to mask what has happened to us and sometimes that means hurting the ones we love most.

I really enjoyed this book. It explores a very dysfunctional family with what appear to be a cold, cruel and uncaring mother whose character belies her profession of a romance writer. A daughter who is so strait laced and cold and appears to have no feelings. A father who seems to be weak, with no backbone although he cares for his daughter immensely and a half sister who doesn’t understand why her “big sister” seems to hate her. They are all called to the island home of Catherine in Corfu to celebrate her fourth marriage without knowing who the groom is. What follows is a story of family, secrets and undoing all the hurts of the past. I had guessed the two big secrets but it didn’t detract from the story which was well written and not the ending was good and not too gushy or smaltzy.

Love love love!!! Guessed early doors at identity of groom but it didn’t ruin anything for me. Fantastic story great plots and twists. Well written and brilliantly portrayed scenes. Look forward to more from this author

A big fan of the author and this one was just as brilliant! Enjoyed the setting in corfu. Loved the relationships between the sisters and the mother! You can just imagine being there and seeing it all happen.

Catherine Swift is a renowned author of romantic novels although the subject is not her own strongpoint. Her writing success has enabled her to buy and live in a villa in Corfu. After three failed marriages she is about to marry for the fourth time. Catherine has two daughters Adeline from her first marriage and Cassie from her second. Adeline lives in London and is a successful magazine agony aunt. Her relationship with her mother is strained as a result of being sent away from Corfu to live with her father at a very young age. Her half sister Cassie was only two years old at the time and as a consequence the two sisters grew up apart and distant from each other. Cassie has just completed her university course in Oxford and working in a coffee shop while deciding her future. Although Adeline is aghast at her mothers forthcoming wedding Cassie is delighted for their mother. Catherine hopes that the forthcoming wedding will reconcile the family but within days of the big day deep hidden secrets are revealed that threaten to destroy rather than heal. Sarah Morgan’s books are much more than just a romantic novel. They always have depth to the story and characters and this latest read is no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. My thanks to Netgalley and HarperCollins for an E-Arc and the opportunity to read and review a favourite author

Firstly, I’m grateful to Sarah Morgan and Kirsty Capes from Harper Collins for access to this lovely book. I’m a big fan of Sarah’s work and it’s been great to read The Summer Wedding before publication.
Secondly, I found the book to be predictable (in a good way, the way that when you are in need of something easy to read, this just hits all the right spots - just like the romance novels ‘Catherine Swift’ writes with the happy endings - read the book to find out more on this). It was a light, easy read which is what I really needed and Sarah didn’t disappoint. I predicted all of the major things in this book but the story as a whole was great and I enjoyed reading it.
I really liked the contrasting characters and how all of the characters linked together - there weren’t any random characters that I don’t think were needed or were added to fluff up the story - everyone had their roles.
Corfu is an idyllic location and made the story feel more summery and romantic.
Overall I would rate this book 3.5 or 4 out of 5 stars!

Romantic chic lit with a little more depth. An enjoyable and well written, if a bit predictable, summer romance and family drama story. I enjoyed it & would have loved to have been in the novel’s setting of Corfu to read it!
