Sarah Morgan's books are eagerly awaited, and I was delighted to be offered this new one to review. It was as usual very well written, interesting characters, and a very different storyline. The only thing that disappointed me was that I didnt feel swept away by descriptions of Corfu. Normally Sarah's books take you to place with so much colour , allowing you to feel that you are there. But somehow this one didnt give me an authentic flavour of the country. However, I enjoyed reading the story, did guess who the fourth husband was going to be, but that didnt take away the anticipation.
Thank you NetGalley for a review copy of this book which I did enjoy reading..

Sarah Morgan's books give me exactly what I need, a comforting read that I can fly through and escape for a few hours.
Summer Wedding follows the Swift family centred around Catherine Swift, a famous romance novelist, and her daughters Adeline and Cassie. When Catherine announces she is to be married (for the fourth time) she invites both daughters to Corfu to meet her soon to be husband and family drama ensues.
Morgan's books are a comfort read as I can tell exactly what is going to happen but the writing means that I enjoy the journey to get there. A small gripe I have with this is the constant fluctuation between UK and US English, some of the phrases and expressions are that of US English and do not fit a book surrounded 3 English women (the use of Mom, apartment, Z spellings etc.).
If you want to get lost in a gentle romance for a few hours then this is the summer read for you.

I am a massive Sarah Morgan fan so I was very eager to read this latest novel. 'Summer Wedding' is a spectacular summer read set in Corfu which is captivating and engrossing from beginning to end - I couldn't put it down!

New Sarah Morgan book checklist. Descriptions of beautiful places that transport you there, tick. Relatable characters that you can't help but take to your heart and love, tick. Love story, tick. Relationships you are rooting for, tick. Yet Summer Wedding is so much more than a romance novel about a wedding. It is mother and daughter relationships, it is siblings and their differences. It's learning from the past. It's taking a leap of faith and it's embracing life and all that it has to offer. Would highly recommend

Another great story from Sarah Morgan. It took me a few chapters to get into it but then I really became invested in the story. It really made me want to visit Corfu. A lovely summer read. Thank you to the publishers and Netgalley for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book

Another wonderful book from Sarah Morgan which I thoroughly enjoyed and would make the perfect summer holiday escape read.
A delightful portrayal of characters all set in sunny Corfu with plenty going on to keep the reader engaged on many levels. Many twists and turns, even with the reader maybe working out some of the subplots, it was perfectly balanced. The story is told between three voices of Catherine and her two daughters Adeline and Cassie with reference to their past, how it's shaped them and how they deal with the present. Some serious issues approached which will be relatable to many of us dealing with families and mistakes that are inevitably made.
Again, a really strong uplifting book from Sarah who, captivates the reader to find a quiet corner and escape. I look forward to her next seasonal offering, summer or winter.

Catherine Swift, best selling author is about to get married for the fourth time. She invites her daughter's, born to different fathers to her home in Corfu for the wedding but doesn't tell them who she is marrying.
When they arrive and find out the identity of her next husband, her life starts to fall apart. Will they all make up? What skeletons will come out of the cupboard?
A lovely story with lots of romance.

A feel good, easy to read romance set on Corfu. This would be a great read on a hot, sunny beach. Another book to be recommended from this author.

I love Sarah Morgan's books, and new ones come with certain expectations.
Summer Wedding was no different. However, it was.
I am used to diving into the new Sarah Morgan offering and being swept away by a romantic storyline. In fact, when I mentioned to a friend I was reading it, she said it would be a good lighthearted read for a couple of days before the half-term ends.
But, the thing is, it wasn't as light-hearted a read as usual. But that, by no means, is a negative thing.
It felt like there was a different, more serious thread running through it.
Summer Wedding is a story that explores the relationship between a mother and her two daughters.
An unexpected invitation drops to Adeline and Cassie, two half-sisters, for their mother's fourth wedding.
Reactions are mixed.
Adeline, as the older daughter, is more sceptical, having been burned as a child n the fallout of her romance author mother, Catherine Swift's first divorce from her father.
Cassie is much more excited, looking forward to seeing her mother settle down to live a life mirroring her hugely successful romance novels, hopefully.
However, both women are in for shocks and discoveries of their own as they arrive in Corfu.
The siblings have a fragile relationship, and this wedding could catalyse some huge emotions between them both.
And. boy, do those reactions cause fireworks!
Honestly, it felt different, but just as good a read as previous books.
Many thanks to NetGalley and HQ for an ARC.

This is Catherine Swift's fourth marriage but who is the groom? Her daughter's Adeline and Cassie are about to find out. Can love bring together a family torn apart by past secrets? An emotional and fulfilling read. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me review this book.

Two daughters have been invited to their mother Catherine’s, fourth wedding. While Adeline, the oldest daughter initially decides not to go, Cassie, the younger daughter is excited and longing to attend.
Set in the beautiful Greek islands wonderfully described by the author, you feel you are there enjoying the spectacular sun drenched scenery, smelling the herbs grown locally, with a gentle breeze in the air. The story explores family relationships, misunderstandings and resentments about events which happened in the past, the tension increasing dramatically when Catherine’s fiancé is introduced,
The characters are so well described, you feel that you know them. Catherine is a writer determined to keep her position as a top selling novelist; Adeline is totally focussed on her job as a psychologist, and Chrissie is bright, funny and cheerful. All have secrets which are explored as the story unfolds. Character driven, these engaging personalities weave a fascinating story into which you become absorbed, wanting everything to work out.
As with all Sarah Morgan books, there is a warm welcoming feel to the plot with lots of humour, twists and turns, along with some heartbreak. A real page turner which kept me glued to the page.

Catherine is a very successful author, she just isn’t quite as successful in her private life, being about to embark on her 4th wedding. Sending out invitations to her daughters, Cassie and Adeline, was going to cause a few problems she knew, but was very hopeful things would go the way she planned. Cassie is 10 years younger than Adeline, and would love to be able to connect with her big sister, but for some reason Adeline doesn’t want to know. Perhaps this wedding, at Catherine’s home on Corfu will bring them all together,
I’m a fan of Sarah Morgan and really enjoy her writing style. Set mainly in Corfu, it’s a very easy read, lovely descriptions of the island and interesting characters. I didn’t take immediately to either Catherine or Adeline but they definitely grew on me. I guessed who the mystery bridegroom was, but it didn’t spoil anything. When you read a book by this author you always know you’ll have a happy ending, great characters and still a few twists and turns. Perfect summer reading.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Wonderful family saga with plenty of descriptions of the Mediterranean to get you ready for summer. Loved the interaction between the sisters and the gradual unfolding of the plot as everyone begins to grasp the full story. Beautiful told.

A great holiday read. Caroline is a world class romance author who lives on the beautiful Greek island of Corfu. She summons her two daughters from England to come to her fourth wedding. but they have different fathers so their views of the marriage is very different.
Once there, the new bridegroom is revealed and things become very frault with both daughters taking totally opposing views.
Read it as I would give spoilers if I go on.

Fabulous read! Perfect beach read but that said I read it in February, but when the weather is cold and gloomy what better than to read a book set in sunnier climes. Excellent storyline , good cast of realistic characters, thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended.

Well I'm not sure where to start, was quite new to Sarah's books and now seem to be unable to put them down and this was another one that didn't disappoint, a wonderful story set in a beautiful place, engaging characters it was easy to love, loved every page, off to find my next Sarah Morgan Read

Thank you for giving me an early chance to experience this wonderful story between mother and daughters.
Getting to see views from each woman made me what to keep reading and find out what happened.
I highly recommend everyone to get a chance to read Sarah morgans amazing writing

I loved this book. Following Catherine's story when she announced her 4th wedding was captivating. It was set in a beautiful part of Corfu which sounded idyllic. The relationships between Catherine and her two daughters was heartbreaking at times but it was lovely to see them coming together. A health scare for Catherine really set minds thinking about what was really important. I did guess that Andrew was the future husband but it was fascinating reading to find if I was correct. This was beautifully written and I loved how the story unfolded. Love really does conquer all.

Summer Wedding has all the ingredients one would expect of a novel by Sarah Morgan. There's a sumptuous setting in Corfu (How did I manage only to see the tacky touristy tat when I was there?), a dysfunctional family and romance. Catherine, the mother, is a phenomenally successful writer of romances, and I wonder if Sarah Morgan might be drawing on her own life. At one point Catherine says that her readers know what to expect of her books and would be dismayed by anything out of character. The same, I think is true of Sarah Morgan and her readers. I listed the elements I'd expected to find in this book not in a spirit of criticism, but because that is what I enjoy about Sarah's writing.
Summer Wedding is escapism, of course it is. But that is true of most books in different ways. They're a chance to live in someone else's life for a short time. Sarah Morgan allows to do that extremely well.

Thank you to the Publisher, Author and NetGalley for the invite to read this eARC.
I've only read one book before by this author and was really enthralled by it. This book is another great read from Sarah Morgan, one I devoured in less than a day and thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end. I loved Cassie's character right from the start although Adeline and Catherine took longer to grow on me. I found this to be an absolute gem of a read, I thought it was so well written and wonderfully descriptive. Adeline and Cassie go to Corfu to attend their mother's 4th wedding and are both surprised and shocked to find out who the bridegroom is. The authors writing and portrayal of her characters thoughts, feelings and emotions here in my opinion is spot on.
They jumped out from the pages and became alive in my mind and I could picture the scenes when reading. I loved that the story was told through Adeline, Cassie and Catherine's perspectives. Add in another possible romance and you've got the perfect holiday and summer read which is not only uplifting, it makes you feel good too and I will say that once or twice the writing really pulled at my emotions. I really liked the ending, it couldn't have suited the story any more perfectly. If you're a fan of romances and second chances I think you'll love this book and I'd recommend it.
