You can never go wrong with a Sarah Morgan book! They are always so well written, flow really well and an interesting story. Yes, they traditionally have a happy ending but there is nothing wrong with that! Everyone loves a bit of feel-good and you always get that with a Sarah Morgan book!
This one was no exception, set on Corfu and all about an author and her family. However, not everything in the wonderful sounding garden is rosy, where everyone has their own secrets and issues. However, as the story progresses, through various events that occur, the past is gradually revealed and everything starts to become clearer. Some lovely happy endings - just how I was hoping the story was going to finish.

Thank you to Net Galley & the publishers for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review, which is what I have given.

I very nearly gave up on this book part way through but am glad I persevered as the second half of the book is so much better than the first. Whilst this is a classic beach read it is so much more than a simple romance, delving more into family dynamics, perceptions and how much you really understand yourself. Where the first half of the book was highly predictable, with every "reveal" having been heavily signposted and the attitudes of the daughters completely over the top and irrational to my mind, the second half revolves around multiple conversations between both family members and close friends as each person begins to analyse their own thoughts and deeds and begins to understand the effects of their past. A satisfying read.

Sarah Morgan keeps up her high standard with this book, which is a perfect read for a Summer’s Day. Also what could be a better setting for a holiday read than the Corfu setting for this book.

As with all Sarah Morgan’s books we see a well set up premise that involves self-exploration for the main characters, as well as exploring the family history and dynamics of the family in this case. A family is pulled together for a wedding with an unknown groom and this sets off a voyage of discovery and in revealed secrets for the main characters. You just can’t help falling for Sarah Morgan’s characters and premises, she writes them so well.

The slow reveal of this book was perfect and it builds towards an exciting climax, which was very well-written.

I am happy to be able to recommend this book and cannot wait for Sarah Morgan’s next book.

Released in time to read during the summer, Summer Wedding is an easy holiday read.
It is set in the beautiful island of Corfu and is based around a fragmented family. Will the summer wedding go ahead.......can the hurts be healed and will does love conquer all.

A lovely book beautifully written.

Highly recommended.

As usual a summer read by Sarah Morgan is the perfect addition to your holiday list.

The setting of Corfu is idyllic & authentic. Characters are credible & interesting. The storyline whilst not full of surprises does have some twists. An extremely enjoyable read.

A family wedding

Catherine Swift is a bestselling romance author, but her personal story hasn’t been quite so successful; three failed marriages have left her relationship with her daughters strained. Engaged once again, Catherine is counting on this wedding, at her villa in Corfu, to finally bring the family together.

A summer of secrets

Adeline can’t believe her mother is getting married for a fourth time, or that she’s expected to attend. It brings back the pain of her mother’s infidelity and the baby who was the result. Not that she blames her half-sister Cassie, but then she's never tried to know her, either. Cassie, on the other hand, is thrilled by her mother’s news – she’s always admired Catherine’s resilience, and is excited to meet the mystery groom. Cassie also has a secret of her own, and a summer in Corfu will give her the time she needs to process everything.

A chance to start over again

As the guests arrive on the island, and the big day approaches, Catherine begins to reveal secrets from her past, and suddenly both Cassie and Adeline realise that they don’t know their mother at all . . .

My Opinion

I always enjoy a Sarah Morgan so when I saw that tis summer book was available I just had to give it a read. Sarah Morgan always bring family drama to a book, so of course this book is full of secrets. Catherine sends out wedding invites to her daughters; Adeline and Cassie but leave out a key piece of information - the name of the groom. Both sisters arrive in Corfu, unsure of what to expect.

This was an entertaining read - Morgan does not disappoint. A perfect summer read.

An entertaining read!
I loved the two different threads running through this story from the two sisters perceptives and the classic bond of the siblings versus the parents. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend.

Sarah Morgan always writes a book that you can fly through. This book covered the hidden secrets that may be present in a family and the impact that they can have when revealed. The individual characters within the family were all well written and it could easily be turned into a series like some of her others to show how Adelaine and Cassie's relationships go on - here's hoping to see them !!!!

This is a Women’s Fiction/Romance book, which is a lovely summer read that I enjoyed.

The story is about Catherine Swift and her daughters Adeline and Cassie, who come together in Corfu, to celebrate Catherine’s wedding.

With secrets and surprises galore, this uplifting and heartwarming family read will enthral you and keep you reading until the very end. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Catherine, a successful romance author, has recently become engaged. She gathers her immediate family around her at her beautiful Greek villa. Her youngest daughter, Cassie is proud of her mother and happy for her. For her eldest daughter Adeline the new relationship is a reminder of her mother’s infidelity from many years before, which resulted in Cassie and the breaking up of Catherine’s marriage to Ada’s father.

As preparations get under way and secrets are revealed Ada realises that the past is not what she thought, and she questions what she thinks she knows about her mother and her decision to avoid her half-sister. A great summer read.

I purposely delayed reading this book the moment I learnt it was set in Corfu as I had a trip planned to the Greek island and thought it would be amazing to read whilst I was there. I am so happy that I did so because it made everything feel authentic and I was totally absorbed into the story and the setting.

Although this book was definitely a romance, I think there was more about family relationships. I really enjoyed the relationship between Adeline and Cassie as sisters and following them on their way to developing a friendship. I also really liked the very different mother-daughter relationships they each had with Catherine. It reminded me a lot of how different my own relationship with my mother is to my sisters.

This was a perfect book to read whilst lounging on a Corfu beach and by the pool. I'm so happy that I saved it to read whilst I was away so I could experience all of the gorgeous Greek vibes in reality and in fiction. I would definitely recommend this book for your next beach read.

Another great read from Sarah. Her books are always entertaining and a sweet read. The story was great and I loved the characters. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

Sarah Morgan has done it again, I truly loved this. I think her greatest strength as a writer is in her female friendships and relationships. Her explorations of sisterhood, motherhood and family are always spot on and although her romantic heroes are swoony, it's the female relationships that always make the book for me, and this was no different.

Adeline's journey was the one that I found the most moving, but I loved the way that the past was revealed for all of them, both their initial perceptions and the slow understanding of reality.

I think it brings home the importance of family, but also that family takes hard work, challenging honesty and brave vulnerability to really thrive.

Just a delightful summer read.

I lovely easy summer read. Two very different sisters- Cassie who is easy going and instantly likeable and Adeline who is much more stern but who you warm to as the story progresses. Once the storyline behind the family dynamics becomes clearer everything made sense.

This was an enjoyable light-hearted read.

I love Sarah Morgan’s novels and this was no exception. It did take a little longer to get used to the characters but they developed so well and had so much depth and interesting flaws. Perfect summer read

I adore everything Sarah Morgan writes.
The way she constructs each character- their personalities, emotions, flaws- is captivating. The scenery she sets each story in, further adds to the immersive experience.
My favourite part of this one though- the humanity of Catherine's darkness.
Morgan successfully blends a sombre situation with an uplifting romance. I loved every minute.

I requested this book as I wanted a nice easy read and that's what I got!

It did take me a while to get into the book and learn the different characters and I didn't find myself self wanting to go back and read it, like I do with some books but it was a nice little story.

The story is about Cassie and her sister Adaline and their mother who is a famous writer and the dynamics within all of the relationships as well as their love lifes. That is the best way I can describe it.
