Wonderful book on how to care for your plants inside and outside. I am a huge plantlover, but unfortunately it sometimes happens that plants just die and I don't know how it happened. It also sometimes happens that plants grow and grow, without me doing something special (well, as much as I think I did). This book gave a good insight in how to treat your plants and how to maintain a healthy plant.

I also very much liked the way the book was set up and how it was illustrated. I guess you could say I'm a sucker for these kind of things, haha. I would give the book 4 stars. I haven't put a review on the book on Goodreads, because I don't really feel this is a book to read as you would a story book. But nevertheless, a very nice book if you want to know more about plants and how to care for them so that they can thrive.

This was a lovely coffee table book.

It had a tonne of information in if your just starting on your gardening journey. It was written in a way that was very easy to understand. If your looking for a more complex gardening book then I don't think this would be for you. Like I said it was geared more towards beginner-intermediate skill level.

The graphics were a bit hit and miss. I really liked the cartoon style graphics as that's how the book initially started but it ended up including real life stills are it made the flow of the book a bit jagged?
Also, the real life stills gave off a magazine vibe which I didn't much like.

"GROW" is a delightful guide for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts. The book explores the joys of growing plants indoors and outdoors, making it accessible even for those with limited space. One highlight is the "Greener Gardening" section, which offers fantastic DIY instructions for building a Bug hotel, valuable tips on supporting wildlife, and practical advice on reducing landfill waste through composting. Another standout feature for me is the "Plant Clinic" section, which offers invaluable guidance for individuals who don't have natural green fingers (like me) and are seeking extra support in plant care.

This is the gardening book I've been waiting for. A charming guide to growing your own vegetables and plants whatever the size of your space.
The illustrations are delightful and the text is clear, concise and not over lengthy.
The book is suitable for both novices and seasoned gardeners.
There are 8 chapters ,with sections including indoor plants and suitability for the various rooms, a useful section on plants for healing, ideas for preserving herbs and a chapter on 'Greener Gardening". The final chapter has troubleshooting tips such as 'why is my plant not flowering'.
I would highly recommend.

So many useful topics covered in Grow. I found the plant buying guide particularly helpful, along with the sections on soil types, sowing seeds and keeping your houseplants healthy through winter. Grow covers such a huge range of plant related tips and ideas including a guide to the top 10 plants for scent, DIY rosewater, home remedies, cocktails, how to make bird feeder, how to be your own florist, DIY terrariums, sugar flowers, DIY bug hotel, composting, a useful guide to diseases and pests, plus so much more! One of my favourite ideas was the bulb lasagna, such an interesting planting method, I can't wait to try it. The book also features great photography and beautiful illustrations throughout and is a joy to read through whilst also being practical and full of great information. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in plants and nature, it's fantastic!

This is such a sweet book for the beginner gardener. I loved the illustrations, they really brought it to life. I would be very happy giving this book to a new gardener - it'd make a lovely housewarming present, along with an "unkillable" houseplant!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This gardening book surprisingly grabs you with both basic information helping you get started with gardening, but also helps get you into the spirit of gardening again if you’ve lost any motivation.

I can’t wait to get started in my own garden again this spring after what feels like a long winter. This book has inspired me to try different plants, including annuals which I tended to avoid before.

I love the cartoon artwork mixed in with the professional pictures in here which give you an indication of what the plants look like. The author has also done a great job of covering all range of subjects including herbs, fruit and veg, creating your own tea recipes, as well as covering houseplants and common problems too.

If you are a newbie to gardening, or wanting to touch up on what you know, or simply needing some inspiration, GROW will inspire you to try new things and do things a little differently.
