A really sumptuous and wonderful addition to the regency romance genre. I enjoyed the premise greatly and seeing the relationship develop. Really wonderful writing too

Another brilliant, steamy romance from the pen of Felicity George, a wonderful new voice in romantic fiction. I thoroughly enjoyed her debut novel, A Lady’s Risk, and eagerly awaited her second. It didn’t disappoint. Felicity has a gift for historically accurate story telling that sweeps the reader along, immersing them in the glorious sights, sounds and smells of Regency London. I love the way she breathes life into her meticulously crafted characters, carefully revealing every facet of their nature with each turn of the page. I sighed and cried with the joyous Sidney Wakefield, humble curate and helpless romantic, in love with the beautiful Kitty Preece, the most highly paid, sought after courtesan in London as he tries to rescue her from the clutches of the wealthy, powerful Duke of Gillingham (boo, hiss) who wants to be Kittty’s next keeper. In order to win Kitty, Sidney must also grapple with Kitty’s sister, the redoubtable, wonderfully portrayed Matilda and overcome the iron will of Lady Eden, his selfish mother. No sooner had I breathed a sigh of relief that Sidney and Kitty looked set to find happiness together, events took a sinister turn in this wonderful, rollercoaster romance that kept on delivering right to the end. I would like to extend my thanks to Orion Dash for selecting me to review a copy of A Courtesan's Worth on NetGalley.

A lovely romantic story concerning the main characters Kitty and Sidney. But will their romance ever reach a happy ending? That I refuse to say, for fear of spoiling the novel. But I really enjoyed it and it was a good read. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for giving me a copy of the book.
