Jessie is devastated after she finds out her fiance is leaving her for another woman. So she decides to travel with her grandfather to Indigo Cove to relax. Jessie spent many summers there as a young girl. She was raised by her stepmother and was told that she was never good enough. She met Ashton, who was 19 at the time, 14 years ago and he had made quite an impression on her. Now that she is back in Indigo Cove she runs into Ashton. She learns a lot about his past and rediscovers a love for photography. Can she open her heart to Ashton and discover love and trust again?
SUMMER AT THE CORNISH BEACH CAFE was a fast paced story, filled with family drama. It was pretty sad to learn about how Ashton's family treated him. I really loved his and Jesse's connection and I thought this was a great story overall. It is on the short side, so you can read this in a days time. I would recommend it to those wanting something deeper romantically. There is a lot that happened to the two main characters when they were younger.
