I loved the premise of this and was really intrigued to see how it would all play out. Its very character driven and the author gives such a clear insight into who these characters are. They're well written and relatable, who wouldn't do whatever it takes to save your child after all?! It also deals with a lot of the struggles and pressures that illness can cause and for half the book it did just feel more like a general function book. The twists aren't anything shocking and I didn't get kuchen of a suspense vibe throughout but it wad still a really enjoyable story about an interesting dilemma

"The Price" is a great read as it has 2 simultaneous stories which blend into one. One story is emotional and heart wrenching and the other is cunning and suspenseful. It really is the best of both worlds and the author did a phenomenal job of writing and intertwining the stories together. I however did only give the book 4 stars as the thriller part was a little too predictable but all in all I'd recommend it to any reader!
