New year, new you? I took my time reading this book and did not regret it. It’s definitely a book filled with knowledge and purpose. The book and content are bite-sized but this is a book that you can re-read and come back to over and over again depending on the situation you are facing in life.

The E-Book could be improved and more user-friendly, such as links to the chapters, no significant gaps between words and a cover for the book would be better. It is very document-like instead of a book. A star has been deducted because of this.

This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and I would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

Well put together with relatable context appealing to a wide audience. Lack of confidence seems to be a common theme I come across regularly, it's particularly something that is requested as a key skill when people are seeking help via mentoring and coaching. This book is the perfect companion to support that journey of self reflection. The frameworks presented and accompanying examples are easy to understand, with the tone of this book being it's centre piece. This isn't a monotonous text instructing, this is a book designed to make you think for yourself. This is a helpful book for learning and development professionals to recommend forward to colleagues seeking help with things such as comms, presentation skills, stakeholder management, self confidence and leadership skills.

The premise of this book was very primising. Unfortunately, the first 50 pages, full of comparisons and examples about improv - something I have no interest ever knowing anything about - completely lost me.

This is a real problem that we are struggling with more and more. How do you make the decision in real time to stop, make contact, and just focus on the next few minutes with another human? How do you deal with never getting focus? It's rough, man. And it's getting worse with every missed interaction.
