I really wanted to like this book, the description sounded so interesting and I was in the mood for a good psych thriller. Well, this wasn't it. I read up to chapter 15 then jumped to chapter 27. It doesn't seem like I missed much. I had hoped the ending would have me regretting that I skipped those chapters, it didn't. At least I know how it ended.

When Jane goes to pick up her friend's daughter from school, the little girl has already been picked up by someone else and she has gone missing.
When I started to read the book, I really liked it, but I was uncomfortable with the chapters that featured the kidnapper and her ominous behavior, it was a difficult read.
Jane is not particularly likeable, but the twists and turns the story makes was very enjoyable and surprising. The ending was unexpected and again, quite an eye opener. On the whole, a good read which is hard to put down.
I couldn't find the book on Goodreads, so couldn't post my review, but will definitely leave it on Amazon when the book is published.

This story was so gripping that I could not put it down, I read the entire book in one sitting.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.
