I enjoyed two other whodunnits by Bryndza for the normality and easy pace and therefore it was a surprise to read Fear the Silence that is the complete opposite. Quite exhausting all those twists and turns,

To say this book is gripping, and you won't be able to put it down is an understatement. It got me hooked within the first few pages and it took me on an incredible ride. This is one of the most original stories I have ever read. Maggie is a wonderful character and I was rooting for her the whole time. This book is so cleverly twisted and very atmospheric. Loads of the story is set on a creepy Croatian island during the winter.
After reading this book I might be rethinking going on holidays on any small islands.
Kudos to Robert Bryndza for his master storytelling.
