The Seed – Jeff Shiring

The murky world of politics and political lobbying.
Take one global group, that are looking at maximising profit through global pandemic.

Covid, is killing millions worldwide. They are sitting on the vaccine that could stop it in its tracks.

Add in a DA, that has been cherry picked as a replacement for senator. A puppet, whose strings are being prepped to dance to the tune being played.

Politics, is not something that I would generally go for, as I find it a fairly boring topic to cover. As it can easily get bogged down with crap, and in-talk.

This manages to skirt around the normal pitfalls that can easily be found with this subject matter. I think that the pandemic was used well, and with a plausible plot line. A cure for Covid, under the right circumstances, especially in the States would have generated billions in sales.

I wonder to what extent during the pandemic our lives were directed and played with by those with money and power, and what real reasons were behind decrees and rules. Rather interesting to see how the developed in book 2, since book 1 ended kind of in the middle,
