Sarah a Denzil always provides a well written, great thriller. I would recommend, a thoroughly good read! I highly recommend this as a fab read!

The plot is fantastic. I love that writer chose a plot that would shock the readers. The story has somewhat of a dark theme to it, but that is what makes the book good. The story has realistic elements to it that helps with the characters emotional dialogue. The book is very interesting. I liked the book a lot.

The cover is the best part of this book. The plot had so much potential but this was pretty bad. Did not keep me entertained at all

Deliciously dark and twisty… Will have you locking all the doors and flipping pages in order to find out what happened… Seriously one of the best psychological thrillers I’ve read in a long time!…

This wasn’t one of my favourite books by this author which is a shame. Enjoyed the start but I lost it a bit half way through. Look forward to more by this author though.

A brilliant read from beginning to end, full of action which kept me not wanting to put my kindle down.

Laura’s chance meeting with Ethan changed her life and not in a great way. I liked the start but it gradually went downhill with a ludicrous ending. Several things should’ve been explained but weren’t, plot holes that no one obviously picked up on. The pace was lively and the style of writing didn’t jar. We’ve all seen the two main characters many times in other novels so no big surprises there - same modus operandi. Despite all that I was still intrigued enough to carry on reading!

A really good read, full of tension and very gripping. I read it in one evening. It's creepy and dark at times and very action packed in the second half.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC which I really wish I had read sooner.
This really is my type of book and I highly recommend people read this.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with this copy of The Nice Guy. This type of book is right up my alley and I only wish I could have started it sooner. Highly recommend to those who love domestic thrillers.

A well written thriller highlighting coercive control. Ethan had huge red flags from the start but it's so easy to see how you can get sucked in. The author did a good job at highlighting this! A twisted and creepy read that left me so annoyed, in a good way!!

Always a fan of Sarah’s books and this was no exception. A twisty plot with well written characters and a well crafted storyline that kept me hooked from the start to finish

When Laura met Ethan for a date she did not envisage the life that would come.
I’m a huge Sarah Denzil fan and this did not disappoint.
Ethan was rather unpleasant even when Laura thought he was a nice guy and I knew more sinister things were to come.
Although this story is wholly unrealistic, that made me like it even more.
Great tension and enough mystery to keep you turning the pages.

Brilliant read! I am a huge fan of Sarah Denzil's writing and this one is up there with the best of them. A real page turner that once you start you won't want to put it down. 5 stars

This was an audio listen for me and I did enjoy it. It was a gradual creepy climber that did well at building up the tension. Some parts towards the ending were a bit far fetched for me and Laura definitely made some questionable decisions but overall I did think it was well written and had your skin crawling at points.

This books looks at sensitive issues such as mental abuse and does it with sensitivity. Abit slow at times but a good insight into toxic relationships with a very unpleasant unlikeable character

Sarah A Denzil is a firm favourite thriller author, This book is great and I love drama and atmosphere that is illustrated.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of The Nice Guy by Sarah A. Denzil in exchange for my honest review and opinion. Loved the writing style and how it captivated me from the first page and kept me guessing until the last. Lots of twists and turns and made me thankful I'm married and never have to date again! :)

This book makes me more scared to have people come to my door and ring the bell when I know no one was invited

Nope, nope, nope. This book started off so god damn well, and instantly had me hooked. However, it truly lost me at around the 30%-50% mark, and just fell flat.
