I really liked this one! Especially the writing, which was fun and engaging without feeling it was trying too hard. The banter was top notch and the book really stuck the landing when it came to its more emotional moments. I would've liked some more in the ending as it felt a little hastily done, but overall this was great!

I simply could not put this book down. Even though I obviously knew Shane and Lilah would end up together, I just needed to be absolutely sure that they did.

For a second-chance romance, it showed just enough of the previous relationship to prove to the reader that these two could be good for each other. Thankfully the bulk of the story was firmly in the present-day, where Shane and Lilah don't just grow as two people in a relationship, but also as individuals. It makes their reunion that much better, because it's not just about breathing new life into their relationship, it's also about dealing with past trauma.

And although the banter between Shane and Lilah was top-notch, it wasn't their only personality trait. So often books have great banter between characters and little else, but these characters have real depth and they actually have real conversations with each other. Finish it all with a good dose of chemistry and spice, and you've got yourself just about the perfect romance book.

I was nervous to read this as How to Fake it in Hollywood was one of my favourite books of last year and I didn’t think that Ava Wilder could top that, but this was so much fun! I didn’t enjoy it *as* much, which is why it’s a 4⭐️, but I will always love a romcom based around celebrities and this really hit the mark.

Our two main characters, Lilah and Shane are exes, but are forced back together for the final season of the television show that brought them into the spotlight. As somebody who grew up loving The Vampire Diaries, it very much gave me Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder vibes and I LOVED it.

I really enjoyed this second chance romance. It also included Hollywood romance, dual POV, dual timelines, forced proximity and the enemies to lovers trope which were great additions in my opinion. The short chapters made it an easy read. I really liked the premise of this book and found it to be an enjoyable read. This was my first book by Ava Wilder but I’m excited to read any of her future books.

I loved How To Fake It In Hollywood so much, so when I saw that Ava Wilder was releasing another book, I just knew I needed to read it. I really really enjoyed this book, although it was quite hard to get into it, at first, in comparison to HTFIIH. I think the first half of the book I did struggle to get invested in the characters, but the second half was really good and redeemed the rest of the book for me. Also, this book had great mental health rep and was quite easy to read with short chapters. Ava Wilder’s writing is also very good so makes reading this book so easy and interesting.

The story follows Lilah and Shane, who met at the audition of a paranormal TV show. From the very beginning, they clicked, and their chemistry was amazing. Fast forward 5+ years and they hate each other offscreen, yet onscreen everyone thinks that they are together based on their chemistry. Now Lilah is back on the hit TV show for one more season and must face her biggest enemy, Shane…

I usually love enemies-to-lovers, but it was hard to connect with Lilah and Shane until about halfway through the story. In the beginning, I found both of them insufferable and moany about everything. Also, the reason why they hate each other was quite silly, at least in my opinion but the way they address and resolve their issues was quite entertaining to read. I think both Shane and Lilah read more like young adults and not someone in their early to mid-thirties. They both did lack maturity but also, I also felt that they grew up a lot during the book too. So, in the end, I did end up growing to love them.

What I really liked about this book was the writing and the premise of the book. It was quite different from the usual Hollywood romances, which was a breath of fresh air to read.

Overall: It is a very solid enemies-to-lovers romance, with quite insufferable characters that I grew to love. Great writing and premise. If you love Hollywood romances and enemies-to-lovers trope, then this book is definitely for you. For me, Ava Wilder is definitely becoming one of the autobuy authors, so I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

Utterly captivating! A compelling enemies to lovers, with a sprinkle of second chance. Adored the banter, the longing glances hidden by scornful looks. Wilder almost had me believing she would go against the conventions of romance, and keep them apart! Thankfully, she has plenty of surprises, and her writing leaves you longing for more!

The very aptly named 'Will They or Won't They' focuses on Lilah and Shane's second chance at romance. As the stars of the hit paranormal TV show 'Intangible', their characters have spent multiple seasons pining for each other onscreen. Off screen, the two actors had a secret fling during the first season of the show and have despised each other since it ended. Lilah left the show in the hope of pursuing a film career, but has returned to the show for its final season, when their characters will get together at last...

The conflict and chemistry between the two main characters was fantastic, and there were so many moments when I was asking myself the titular question. This is a rom-com with flawed characters who act out because they're scared of getting hurt. There were parts when I disliked Lilah for her choices and actions, but I can't deny that her unlikable moments made her character feel much more real. Wilder definitely delivered on character development, and I loved following both characters' POV. This is the first time I've read a novel by Ava Wilder, but it certainly won't be the last.

I've started to become a bit weary of enemies to lovers novels as they all seem to read the same, this book was a bit same-y yet Wilder has managed to carve out some distinctive characters which made this book rather enjoyable to read.

I have heard really good things about Wilder's debut, How to Fake it in Hollywood, so I was excited to try out her newest work, especially when I found out what the premise was - former lovers turned enemies (and presumably lovers again) acting in a paranormal TV show? Sign me up! I did find this to be quite a slow start, especially as the timeline kept jumping between present-day and then the beginnings of Shane and Lilah's relationship before the build-up to their conflict. However, once I got about a third in, I found myself caring about both of them and wanting them to find their way back to each other. I enjoyed how multi-layered the story was, following them through therapy sessions, personal struggles and work dynamics amongst their romantic reunion, and I think Wilder wrote their relationship very well. I'm definitely interested in checking out her debut now.

A fab slow burn enemies to lovers book. I loved the characters and really enjoyed reading this book, This is my first Ava Wilder novel and it definitely won't be my last.

I really enjoyed the writing style of this book. It was really animated, charming and full of personality. The characters felt very organic and had alot of chemistry and banter between them. It was however a little bit predictable but fun non the less.

I really enjoyed this one! What stands out most to me about Will They or Won't They is Ava Wilder's writing, which has a lot of personality and charm without overcorrecting and veering into "trying too hard" territory. I especially loved the dialogue between the characters, which felt organic and fun and banter-y, but also heartfelt and moving in the book's more climactic moments. As always, I am a big fan of The Angst and there was plenty of it here. That said, though the tension of the romantic buildup was great, I think the resolution of that tension didn't quite stick the landing for me; it felt a bit anticlimactic. Overall, though, this was a great romance and I will happily read anything that Ava Wilder writes next.

I loved reading this one. I just love this kind of books.

Really enjoyable light-hearted second chance romance! Lilah and Shane are brought back to together when she rejoins the show that they first met, fell in love and broke up on! Will they manage the final season without killing each other? And will their true feelings be enough?

I really enjoyed this one! The chemistry was present and delicious from the beginning, I thought the flashbacks were well placed and great and giving little clues to the present relationship between Shane and Lilah. Ava Wilder might be becoming an auto-read author for me!

Lilah and Shane are the stars of a big tv show and as well as being a couple on screen the pair get together behind the scenes too. After a bad breakup leads to Lilah leaving the show they don’t see eachother for years until she returns for the final season.

This was a great second chance romance I really enjoyed Lilah and Shane’s story, it was such a slow burn it really paid off because my heart was hurting in parts. There’s so much tension and the build up is just chefs kiss.

The only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because I was disappointed with the ending, but apart from that it’s definitely a good book.

I quite enjoyed the characters, but the story moved too slowly, and was hard to get into.

I love the trope enemies-to-lovers but sometimes it's not a hit, more of a miss. In this case the author took it a step to far with their animosity towards each other and it was hard to believe that they would be able turned it around and actually loved each other. Also, Lila grated on my nerves with her attitude and the non-existent self awareness.

I'm sorry to say that this was just a meh for me.
