The main character PMO but that didn't take away from how amazing this story was and that is rare! Love Cole Baxter's books and this one was up to par!!!

I’m gonna start by saying I hated ambers character. She really irked me. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot twists & the level of suspense was great. I would definitely read more books by this author.

This was a good story with some interesting twists, some predictable some not. I think I may have enjoyed it more if I didn’t really, really dislike the main character, Amber. I was really hard to work up any sympathy for her. I guess the point was to see if someone so bad can be redeemed through a well-planned plot of revenge.

I loved the suspense and how the action kept the plot going. I figured out "whodunnit" midway through, but there were some additional twists that kept me on my toes! Great read!

Enjoyed this read. The main character isn't particularly likeable but there's a huge amount of tension and suspense as the plot builds. The downside for me was the main character as I didn't warm to her at all and couldn't help but feel that the plot would have worked better with something more likeable. But it's still a good read.

Amber Dennis is an up and coming lawyer in LA. She just received her promotion to Junior Partner, to the chagrin of a lot of people. However, Amber does not care. She has a goal to get her name on the wall, and does not care who she has to step on to get there. All things are coming up roses for Amber, promotion, new condo, flashy car, and a secret affair with her mentor's son.

Then, life starts to turn. One night, late at work, an email pops into her account and Amber shrugs it off. As the recipient of angry emails in the past, she figures it is a kook. However, more emails come through over time and things start happening to Amber that upset her quality of life. She has no one ot turn to as she has alienated everyone, even the cops are skeptical. Then, something big happens and the detectives start taking her seriously. Can they stop this person before they take everything?

This book was interesting. I am still confused by the cover of the book - once you read it, you will understand why. Same with the title.

A great thriller that kept reading to the end - great book.

I must say that I really enjoyed this domestic thriller. I wasn't necessarily expecting a stalker story and this was a super fun one. The main character was a bit hard to root for at times but I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen in the end. This was my first book by Cole Baxter and won't be my last!

Well this physcological thriller is so incredibly in your face that it's hard to look away. I felt like I had a stalker myself and it literally knocked me down.

Call me hypocritical, but even though this book was very very predictable, I ate it up. I devoured it in one sitting, I loved it so much. It was the way the story played out that got me reading it and not putting it down till I finished it in one sitting. First read by Cole Baxter, and it will not be my last!

Predictable with an insufferable main character that was very hard to root for or like. I’ve liked other books by this author though so I was a bit surprised at my reaction.

I do enjoy Cole Baxter's books! I did enjoy this book though I did find it predictable with how the book ended! It was still an entertaining read!

Wow.........The Couple Next Door: by Cole Baxter was a gripping psychological thriller that just grabbed you into the book from the very beginning till the end. Its a roller coaster read with lots of twists and turns throughout that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. The main character Amber Denis is a very ambitious defence attorney and her job is her life! a proud owner of a luxurious new condo, an expensive car, and a fat bank account. Plus, a blossoming relationship with the gorgeous David Grant. But most of all she loves the pressure and buzz she gets from her job.
Then, out of the blue she starts receiving threatening emails this is just after her big promotion in her law firm. At first; she disregards them and doesn't say anything to anyone, until they become more forceful. Her car is vandalised. Then, more things go wrong in Amber’s life the threats become aggressive behaviours escalate.

Someone out there wants to destroy her!

Who could it be, and why are they targeting her?

This book is Sooooo Good! I ended up reading it to the early hours in the morning.

Amber who is an attorney has goals to move up in the organization. Then she acquires a stalker. She is not a very likeable person, so sometimes you hope the stalker wins the battles!

This book is hard to put down.
It’s definitely predictable. The plot is good overall though!
The book title threw me off so I was expecting something else but I did enjoy this read.

It is a little hard to root for Amber, the main character but at the same time you want her to come out on top.

Wow. This was my first book by this author, and I have to say it definitely won’t be my last! I can’t wait to read more from him!

Amber is a ruthless and successful defence lawyer. Things start to go wrong in her life, and an email confirms that someone is out to ruin her life. But who has Amber angered that much.

Amber was written really well. I really did not like her at all. She was everything she was described to be and more and I could see the stalkers pov! This was a bit slow for me and I’d figured out the big reveal in advance. It went on a bit too much after that too. Worth a read.

I thought this book was very interesting. It was well written, easy to read and the characters were complex yet relatable. I liked the twists and turns and how the author led you to believe certain outcomes when it turned out to be something or someone else entirely.
