I liked the book the first time I read it, now the second time I read it, I LOVED it. To me the author speaks truth throughout the book. Some will make you think. Some will make you smile. Some will even make you laugh. I feel this book just needs to be read because he is not just talking about himself, even though he might have been, this book talks about everyone and its , in my word, gospel. I loved it and everyone should read this book. Its just beautiful and beautifully said.

I received a free copy of the book and is voluntarily writing a review

Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book!

I've never read anything by Peter Cressall before, but given that I love poetry I had to request the collection on NetGalley.

Fundamentally, the whole collection is about growing older and dealing with how our minds change;

I should have written down what I had planned.
Old age and memory don't go hand in hand.

The poet also has a sense of humour which seeps through and I really enjoyed that!
