The concept was cool, but I found this pretty boring tbh. I feel like maybe it just isn't for me and other people might like it more.i found myself skimming through the last half just to finish it, and it still took me a few days lol

While I did have issues with the epub copy not loading the last third of the book, I was engaged and enjoying the story enough to not worry too much about it. I'll be requesting a copy once my library (hopefully) purchases this title to finish the story, but wanted to go ahead and give a review based on what I read. The story itself was fascinating and new to me, and it felt different than anything I'd read! The pacing wasn't the strongest, but it allowed for the action to continue non-stop. The art was stunning throughout.

An interesting tale of horror and mystery.
I read this just before Halloween and it really carried the spirit of the day.
The MC is having horrid dreams after a life changing accident that leads to some murder, some investigation, and some interesting revelations.

This book was fantastic and exactly what you want when looking for a horror graphic novel. There are some people that upon falling asleep create sleepwalkers or bring them forth. Sleepwalkers are a bad thing. They are almost a type of demon, whose goal is death and destruction. It turns out that most the people who can do this were from a genetic experiment. However, there is one girl, Terry, who is a natural sleepwalker ever since an accident and it has put her on the run for her life. This book is a great first volume. It moves quickly. The story is succinct, makes sense, but also leaves you wanting the next volume. Trigger warning as there is blood that’s assault and everything you expect to find in a horror novel.

Interesting read! Confusing at times, but the idea was there. I really liked when the misogynistic guy got what was coming to him.

Very unique and interesting concept! Definitely kept me interested from page one, and I'd be very curious to pick up the second volume and see what happens next. Beautiful, gruesome art as well.

In this graphic novel we follow Terri, who after a bad accident develops narcolepsy. Terri starts to develop a very weird symptom; anytime she falls asleep she's manifesting a monster. And this monster likes to kill. Terri begins to be chased by the cops, federal agents, and eventually the military. Can Terri figure out what is going on? Will she ever be able to sleep again without manifesting her dreamscaper? You'll have to read this and find out for yourself!

I really enjoyed this graphic novel, even though it ended a little bit slowly. Despite that, I'm interested to see where the next volume goes.

Nightmares are something we all have dealt with and sometimes we still do. I have this one recurring one where I’m running away from someone and then get trapped in quicksand. Ugh! Can you imagine being haunted by your dreams to where you don’t want to sleep? That’s an ordeal I wish for no one.

This one started off slow and ended the same way. The middle is what got me hooked but I felt that this went on too long before we got to the end. The gore was terrific in every way. It’s no surprise that it was my favorite part of this. The story was iffy and reminded me of something from Stranger Things, which isn’t a terrible thing but I was hoping for something different. This was enjoyable and I’ll definitely check out the second volume.

Sleeping has never been so terrifying!

This graphic novel is a bloody nightmare from the opening sequence all the way up to the cliffhanger ending. I am eagerly - and impatiently - waiting for volume 2 to continue this story. I definitely started this thinking that I knew what to expect, but then there were LAYERS! Excellent and gorgeously illustrated LAYERS!

Recommended for: horror enthusiasts and graphic novel readers that enjoy splatterpunk

Content warning: extreme violence; gory murder scenes; child endangerment; scientific experimentation/test subjects

Maybe the cover have keep me having me the wrong idea. The art is ok, the monsters and the creepy stuff have the right atmosphere. But the plot I feel it a bit rush, it has some holes and I pushed me to finish it. At the end it starts to have some rythm but not worth for me.

"Sleep Terrors" is terrifying indeed with it's murderous monsters emerging from the minds of certain people while they are sleeping. The art is perfectly suited to the story, and the story will draw in fans of horror, the paranormal, and all things creepy.

This was an intense ride! It starts out as a good horror, I was guessing Something like Nightmare on Elm Street, but then turns a bit into sci-fi. It definitely has Stranger Things vibes and twists to keep you enthralled. I will definitely check out volume 2!

Terri has been having terrible sleep after her accident that left her in a coma. Now she has narcolepsy and these terrible dark dreams... but then her dreams begin to come true and the violent events in them are actually happening. Terri is beginning to think she is descending into madness... but then a strange women comes to meet her and federal agents are also in town after her. Terri then finds out that the demon in her sleep?? Actually very real and that SHE is causing some of these events... yet is she truly the bad person or is something much darker and worse going on. This was definitely a really interesting story and its only the first book in the series. If you like graphic novels with a mystery and some demons, then give this one a go!
