This book had me so confused at some points because what I thought was going to happen, never happened. What happened in the end was nothing that I thought was even a possibility. I wasn’t able to put it down for very long at a time because of always having the need to figure something else out.

The Nanny follows our main character, India, who takes a nannying position for a family with lots of secrets.

It started out really strong. You are quickly introduced to multiple suspicious characters, and you follow India as she is trying to determine what rumors to believe and who to trust. Throughout the book, we also get snippets of some letters India is writing to a friend from home, but we don't know much about this friend. I enjoyed the addition of the letters. They started to give a creepier vibe as the story went on.

I do think this could have been shorter. The pacing of the beginning and end was good, but the middle dragged a little to me, and it just seemed like a lot of the same type things were happening over and over in the plot. I was also liking the characters in the beginning, but as the story went on, I was getting a little bored by them and waiting for things to wrap up.

If you enjoy thrillers with romance and a main character who thinks she might be going insane, you should check this one out. It just wasn't a favorite of mine.

Thanks to NetGalley and Joffe Books for giving me a copy in exchange for a review!

I really enjoyed this thriller has me hooked straight from first page until the very last.

India becomes a nanny to Alicia who is a difficult child with parents who are cold. India has came to the Derbyshire countryside to escape what happened in London. When India meets Alicia’s older brother she gets an instant connection but he has a dark past. What is this family hiding and is India in danger from them or herself.

Fantastic thriller with lots of twists and turns highly recommend this to all.

Indian is the nanny for a wealthy family it seems everyone in the house has a secret. I loved the well developed characters in this story. Alex is so mysterious and charming. Brett is creepy and I wanted to scream at India to run away. India is naive and gullible. This was such a great read. I look forward to reading more by this author.

While the premise of this book grabbed my attention, the writing couldn't hold it. The narrative felt choppy and I just didn't connect with it. Unfortunately, this ended up being a DNF for me, but hopefully it will find fans in other readers.

Thank NetGalley and Joffe Books for the eARC.
The Nanny is motherless, has lost her friend and is desperate to start a new life. She accepts a job as Nanny to a sweet girl parented by a wealthy, cold family. There's a brother too, a bit suspet, but the Nanny can't help being interested in him..
There's a secret being kept by the family, is the Nanny in danger?
Good book, tense, and I couldn't help worrying about the Nanny; it kept me up till late and had a great ending.

India becomes a Nanny. Alicia is difficult. Alex more so. Hope…who is Hope? So many questions, along with red herrings, make this mystery intriguing. This talented author has written a page turner. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the author and the publisher. Accepting a job as a nanny, after graduating with a degree, India fears she has made a mistake. Has she? Enjoy discovering the answers.
