Thus book is brilliant for all young fans of cricket. It has facts and anecdotes to keep children entertained and I learnt a lot too! My son isn't a massive reader byt he is a huge cricket fan and he read it several times on holiday. The language is prefect for children and the sections aren't too long for them. Will definitely buy this for my school library and I have a few sports fans in mind to lend it to.

As a massive Horrible Histories and Horrible Science fan I couldn't turn this one down!

A fun little book which I am sure will be popular. I haven 't seen any of the other Stupendous Sports series before but I think they will be great at engaging some unwilling readers with a fun look at different sports.

Loved this little book on all things CRICKET! Written with humour and filled with fun facts and sneaky tips on how to be a cracking cricketer whether you're a batter, a bowler, or both. It really breaks it all down. A fantastic book that I'll be sharing with lots of young readers.

(I'm not going to comment on the list of top cricketers in the book because there are always going to be fights over that and to be fair, the author does say it's so hard to put together this kind of list!)
