This has such a suspenseful premise, but I'm underwhelmed by the ending. Throughout the first 25% of the book, the narrator emphasizes quite a few times that she is a stranger who will ruin Michelle Crane's life. We don't get any clues as to why and it starts to feel a bit repetitive. As the backstory begins to come together, the tension builds and I could see the framework for a huge reveal.

I won't spoil the ending, but the twist wasn't there for me. I don't even know if it was intended to be a shocker or just simply a conclusion to the plot. Either way, I was disappointed that such an interesting premise fell so flat. I think we could have learned more about all of the characters and introduced more hurdles for Jude.
