The Temple of Fortuna is set to be another mesmerising addition to The Wolf Den series, It immediately sets the scene, reintroducing Amaras character and bringing in an atmosphere of anticipation.

I have loved the Wolf Den Trilogy ever since I read the ARC of the first book back in 2021. The Temple of Fortuna is out this November and is the stunning conclusion to Amara’s journey. As the book is set in Pompeii we are sure for an explosive ending!

This is just an excerpt of the book, meant to whet the appetite and the publisher has chosen to give us just the first chapter. Not too much happens, and it doesn’t really end on a cliff-hanger but I know fans such as myself are so excited for the full book, so we don’t really mind! Can’t wait to read this when it comes out in November and thank you to NetGalley and Head of Zeus – Apollo for the sneak peak!

I just finished reading the extract, and even though it’s a short chapter, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Elodie has a way of describing beautiful scenery that is enchanting for the reader. I find her ability to hook the reader with just a few pages fascinating. I am very excited to read the full book, and you should too!

I've loved the previous two books in this series and - having read this extract - I'm really looking forward to reading the final instalment of the Wolf Den trilogy and continuing with Amara's story. Elodie Harper really manages to bring the ancient world alive with her well-researched and extremely entertaining novels.. It's been a wonderfully well told tale from the very beginning and based on this extract, my expectations are high for the finale.
With thanks to the publishers and Net Galley for an ARC of this extract.

I would have been waiting to read the third book anyway but this definitely makes me want to read the full book. Very intriguing change of venue and characters.

Absolutely pitch perfect writing. I've read the first two books in the series, and so was expecting Amara to be far removed from the world of Pompeii. She's still very much the same person, empathetic but calculated to a fault. I've put in a request for an ARC because I don't think I can wait till November to gush about this third book!

Oooo, we've moved to Rome! I love this series of books by Elodie Harper and have been anticipating the third installment. I was excited to read the extract, which left me hungry for reading the full book. Full book please! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review of this extract of the book.

Review of extract only- so far a similar mix of background knowledge with engaging narrative, it will be interesting to see how Harper wraps this trilogy up!

I couldn't wait to read this extract, I've been longing to find out Amara's fate since her last appearance in 'The House with the Golden Door.' Although this preview doesn't give much away we learn that Amara is safely ensconced within the upper echelons of Roman society, using her talents to spy on behalf of her patron. I'm eager to read the rest as the extract was only ten pages but I'm guessing that this book will have an explosive ending.

This trilogy is a breath of fresh air, opening up an era in history that doesn’t appear that often on the popular fiction shelves
