This was such a heartwarming wintery festive read I loved it I loved the slow burn and the romance so cute

This was an adorable Hallmark style Christmas read. It gave me all the warm and cozy feelings. I enjoyed it so much

Set in the premise of a time-loop, this holiday romance is as creative and unique as they come. There's character growth and development throughout the heart-felt story. It's interesting and moving.

Through the Snow Globe is a lovely Christmas story with a groundhog day feel
Diana really isn't looking forward to Christmas.Linus her fiance, was in a RTA and subequently in coma, the prognosis could go either way so awful at any time but at Christmas even worse.

When she discovers a snow globe hidden in Linus's wardrobe she shakes it and makes a wish for him to recover unknowingly triggering magic that repeats the day of his accident again and again leaving her not knowing what will happen and will have to try to stop him from this accident and keep saving him.- is there more to this.

A magical Christmas read

This was a emotional rollercoaster.

It was easy to get absorbed straight into the writing of this book. It was emotive and heart warming and I really enjoy those elements in a cosy read. Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of groundhog day style books, this one was done really well and I really enjoyed seeing how it unwrapped as we went further along.

It was a totally enchanting read! Love is always worth the struggle!

So original and heartfelt. It makes you feel all gooey inside as we are taken on a journey through this time loop of trying to save the person that you love.

Diana is a physical therapist who believes it's her job to stay professional at all times. She's dragging her feet on getting married, and really wants that promotion at work. Unfortunately, her fiancé, Linus, is in a coma after being hit by a car. When Diana finds the snow globe he planned to give her for Christmas she shows it to her neighbor who "enchants" it. Diana is then caught in a time loop as she tries to save Linus from his fate.

Unfortunately, I didn't find Diana very likable. You would think having to repeat her days would wise her up to the fact that she needs to be a little less cold and become a better friend, partner and therapist. Honestly, I found myself wondering why I would invest in this character at all if she doesn't bother to reflect on what the people in her life need from her.

What a lovely story very emotional read you love. How to live the same day over and over till you find what you need. Like a beautiful Iove story with so many twist. I loved the characters in this story. The writing style was amazing. Easy read you love just before Christmas. Such a heartwarming story you feel for the Linus and Diana relationship such a strong relationship.

I think I need to stop requesting Groundhog Day style books! This was cute for the most part, getting the chance to bring back the one person you love to the ends of the earth, but in reality, that’s NOT what the story was about! This story was more about saving yourself even though the idea was to go back to when Linus hurt himself in his accident. Diana has to work on herself, being that she’s not always focused on a work/life balance and instead, more so poured herself into work and never made herself available for life. It was a very well written story, one would honestly not know they were reading the same day over and over if it wasn’t announced - that’s how different the day was each day to keep readers engaged! Thank you so much for the opportunity to read - this was a winner!

Story
Annie Rains is one of my favorite small town romance writers so I was really intrigued to see her write another holiday romance (with a different publisher) but involving a time loop! Groundhog Day stories are some of my favorites to read because every single author does them differently. I love finding out how the person is going to escape from it because again, it’s always something unique to the author’s interpretation.

Diana and Linus have had a whirlwind romance but once he popped the question and the wedding became real, Diana started to pull away. She’s used to people leaving her and isn’t prepared to get sucked into another new family that could eventually do the same. She dealt with a lot of (somewhat annoying) thoughts around this throughout the book and didn’t listen much to the people around her.

The story follows Diana as she repeats the same day that Linus has an accident that puts him into a coma. She tries everything to create the best day for her patients, best friend, and fiancé. I liked seeing how she approached each new day and I think it was slightly more repetitive than other time loop books I’ve read, but it wasn’t enough to deter me. I didn’t fully click with the characters but I definitely shipped Linus and Diana overall – I was really hoping he’d make a recovery for them to start their life together.

Wintery Setting & Holiday Feels
I really enjoyed this cute North Carolina town and the fact that the MMC owned a toy store! I didn’t feel quite as much holiday cheer because the repeating day is December 4th – it was a little further away from Christmas than I prefer. However, Christmas DID appear (no spoilers) so it wasn’t a total loss there.

Overall
There were some cute family feels in this one (especially with a little boy) and this was really the epitome of a heartwarming holiday read. That’s the best word I could use to describe it. The story was good for the holiday season but I kind of wish I read it earlier in December or even November, since I love reading the most holiday-ish books closest to Christmas.

Annie Rains does it tastefully. Diana has to redo December 4 several times in order to try and prevent a disastrous accident that left her fiancé, Linus In a coma. I liked,the snow globe aspect because they are so neat to contemplate.
I liked the slight variations with each do over because I was holding my breath.
It’s a sweet holiday story and with a shake of the globe you get a different picture each time.

I am not a fan of loop stories. I actually got dizzy going back and forth.

I found this to have magic, and hope.

For me this was a wonderful Christmas romance! I had a hard time at the beginning of the book connecting the main character, Diana, or even liking her at all. However, her growth throughout the book was so sweet and necessary in order for the ending to be satisfying. I thought the Groundhog Day type time loop would end up being too repetitive, but I felt the author did a good job of making each day different enough to keep me wondering what would happen next and how everything would turn out. Much of the book is filled with heartbreak and despair, and it evoked so many emotions as you are desperate for things to work out. Ultimately I found the end to be very sweet and satisfying, and I would recommend this for anyone willing to take an emotional journey to the happy ending. Diana Merriman is not looking forward to Christmas. Her fiancé Linus has been in a coma for 3 weeks after a bike accident on his way home from work, and she still feels guilty about their argument. When going through Linus' things, she uncovers his Christmas gift for her, a beautiful snow globe with a tiny replica of their town of Snow Haven inside. Little does she know this snow globe will change everything as she wakes up and finds she's back at the morning of Linus' accident. Stuck in a time loop, she tries everything to change the fate of the day, but she soon realises it's not just her fiancé who needs saving.

I love a good time loop story. I love watching a character repeat a day and grow as a person, and I enjoyed reading about Diana changing her whole outlook on life. This is definitely a story about cherishing what you have and finding your true self and happiness. This has all the markings of a hallmark movie putting you right in the Christmas mood. This will make you laugh and cry. A highly enjoyable read.

3.5 stars for Through the Snow Globe by Annie Rains. This was a really good Christmas read, especially if you like It's A Wonderful Life or Groundhog day.

In this story, a woman named Diana continues to wake up on the same day over and over again. And the day always ends tragically with her husband ending up in a coma. When one of her neighbours puts an enchantment on her snow globe, Diana is convinced that this must have something to do with the time loop. But no matter what she does to try to change the course of events, the day always has the same sad end.

I really liked the magical element to the story and the time loop. But the loss of stars was because it went on a bit too long for me. In the middle, it got a little repetitive and I felt like I needed a change of pace. However, I really did enjoy the growth of the main character. Overall, a good read with some depth.

This was an interesting concept and it fit perfectly with the theme of Christmas. I'm not really one for a serious/sad festive read, so this wasn't really for me, but I wanted to try something new. It's very well written and the characters have a lot of depth.

As a fan of a time travel loop, Groundhog's Day is a personal favorite, I loved the premise of this book. Life can get hectic and you may not slow down and focus on the important stuff...until you have no other choice. Tackling some tough subjects along the way, this book still manages to stay hopeful.
